I really love the combination of the Hello theme and Elementor Pro Theme Builder. The only thing that I miss from themes like Astra (and Astra Pro) is the ability to do extensive global settings for typography and colors. The Style Kits for Elementor plugin solves almost all of this problem for the Hello Theme but it doesn't provide global control over the various heading levels (h1, h2, ..., h6). On the other hand Style Kits does a better job of giving me control over global settings than Astra Pro.
What would be an amazing addition to Elementor would be the ability to set global settings for EVERY element. Perhaps this would be a good extension to theme builder as a part of a rich featured Customizer option that is highly integrated with Elementor. (One Suggestion, if you were to implement this idea you should provide options for setting global defaults of each element for either a -normal- and dark theme option.)
With the addition of a global settings customizer option I believe there would be nothing that you could not do with the Elementor theme builder, completely eliminating the need for having any theme except the Hello theme installed (to keep Wordpress happy).

ERROR I FOUND IN ELEMENTOR!!!
When you use a Theme and you modify the crap out of it it works great. Until you generate Critical CSS cache
like with WP-Rocket
what is the bug? the critical CSS will be generated based on the theme instead of the elementary settings.
AKA let say the theme has green buttons and green text. With elementor you change the color to red.
when you create the critical css cache it will use green, so when you load the page for the first time all the elements are the default theme color
in this case green. until the main CSS loads in and it pops back to red.
(this is the temporary fix)
use the WP-rocket helper plugin to disable critical CSS cache. But if you guys know a better way PLZ share it here!!!

The problem with solely using elementor for the header etc and not the theme is that a theme can do more slick things with the header i.e sticky on scroll, shrink etc...these effects are not yet available natively in elementor and should be included. Also don't styling is lacking compared to using a theme. If elementor had a few more features for header sticky and shrink and better control over font styling and control throughout the site, then I wouldn't rely so much on a theme.

Excellent, keep doing lots more videos on Theme Builder. I've been searching everywhere for an Elementor-friendly template for a small-scale vacation rental business, and they don't exist (just large, multi-property themes, nothing at all for a 'mom and pop' sized rental business). So now, I can just Hello and Theme Builder and presto, I can create my own. Awesome!

I use Theme Builder but with Astra Pro. I tried Hello theme, but I found that there was no easy way to globally style headings, text, buttons etc. I'd have to do them on every new elementor widget. And if clients add new sections, they'd have to style it too, which I want to avoid. Can you advise how to do that with Hello? Thanks :)

Speaking of page layout, if you select Elementor full width layout, it won-t affect your page design even if you change your theme. Moreover Elementor is designed to work independent of the themes. Please be clear as it might confuse some beginners. Cheers!

WAY too many updates! Elementor is a cool idea, but its a nightmare to manage with the steady stream of updates. There seems to be a new update every week... sometimes 2. I'm thinking about going back to my old native builders until this is sorted out.

I use Elementor with just the simple hello theme or sometimes a theme with less options. I usually try to convert my clients into not buying a particular theme because a lot of themes tend to be overly complicated.

Amazing how you avoid talking about rubbish website performances. Install any layout pack, you'll end up with HUGE loading times. Who cares about nice looking website if the bounce rate is 100%
