Cant you get the same privacy approach with a de-googled phone by just not using MicroG & opting out of all google services while still having much more app support?
In my eyes dis-information is still information, they will get your ip address & can extrapolate device information through performance metrics. Any small amount of data Google gets is a threat, & when only a few people use this option & all of a sudden you stop phoning in to google services & a user sending dis-information pops up with the same ip address, its pretty trivial for google to know its you.
Obviously the amount of data the can collect is still greatly limited but you're in no way anonymous to google when using google services, just feel like thats important to mention.

So call me suspicious but anyone (ANYONE) who is promoting, marketing or trying to sell something is going to try to convince us that we are in serious danger (potentially) and they (the promoters) have the answer! Hallelujah! We're saved! Do I believe that Google and the rest collect information on us? Yes I do. But is it really so bad that we should hide our lives behind scrambling devices? Are Microsoft and Google the new nazis? Convince me we are going to be crushed by the jack-booted Google gestapo and I'll buy your phone. Until then I have enough to be concerned about.

I have a Galaxy A71 5G and a Blu G60. To keep it short, I wanted to root the Galaxy, but it's network locked. So I got the G60 because I was told that Blu phones are ready to root because they are network unlocked, and they have 2 SIM slots.
I really want to root either, or both of my phones and load a Verdun of Linux onto at least one of them. I would greatly appreciate a walk thru of how to do it, preferably with images/videos because I have tried before, and can't seem to make it work.
Thank you so much in advance,
Heather

Hi, thank you for such a great video!
I actually have a Oneplus One with the latest LineageOS flashed (and no GApps, with Apps from APKPure store.
But i use it as a 2nd device (and not as phone, without SIMcard, mostly for safe authentication as Google Authenticator. It's a different approach, but a good solution.
I tried the Ubuntu Touch on my 1+1 before, but found it not very user friendly and not compatible with a lot of usual stuff.

Please respect your audience by learning the correct pronunciation. This word from the Nguni languages in the Republic of South Africa, means -Iam, because we are. - It is pronounced as oooh booohn tooo and spelled Ubuntu, and not how you say it. I will teach every reviewer to be respectful to others. Don't order food from a menu if you cannot pronounce it, either. Thank you.

Brilliant resentation.
How much do you charge for your Nexus 5 phone.
And for parts if I wish to build and assemble my own Lenux 5 phone.
What is cheaper.
I appreciate the privacy of one's personal information.

Hey Rob, maybe I missed a video if you covered it but how do you feel about the Light Phone 2? It has no internet, apps, or even a camera. I'd really would appreciate it if I got your opinion on that phone. -
