Using location would be a huge trust breach from any big tech company, ruining user trust. By having private information stored in places that are not accessible to anyone except the user, this helps protect users. From there, the only way to have contact tracing without exposing user info to law enforcement when not necessary, contact tracing is a good solution. You can say that your temporary ID is infected by X, without sharing your identity. This supposes at least to trust Google / Apple. Supermarkets often track people using the self-examining device they provide you.
Delaying software update is more a risk to get affected by 0-days which is far worse.

Privacy issues aside, I don-t think there is any scientific basis for the six feet rule if people are wearing masks and you are only in proximity for a few minutes (e. g. on public transport. Even the CDC defines close contact As 15 minutes I close proximity without masks. And of course things like barriers, like you mention. It can also have the perverse effect of increasing infection by leading people to believe that they are safe if they don-t t get a notification. My Bluetooth and wifi stay off and my mask on in public!

Does that mean if I were to find myself COVID positive and contact google with this info. Will only other google/android users get a -close contact- warning based on the WIFI/Triangulation data and not IOS phone users? Surely all users are informed if they are a confirmed close contact. I can accept that maybe Google uses it's proprietary data however, info for IOS users will required positional data be transmitted out of google to apple which is highly unlikely. Surely apple would be granted only the bluetooth data.

In Singapore, you are not allowed into buildings without being contact traced.
It-s actually impossible to survive if you refuse to bow down. All the places where groceries and basic food items are sold requires you to be contact traces by law.
In fact, all businesses in Singapore requires contact tracing whether you are an employee or customer of the business.

These tech companies are cutting the tree under their feet. Soon no one will afford anyof these devices due to the economic downfall, that these lockdowns bring to us, and that will be the end of them, I hope. Thanks for all that you do! I am sharing your videos on my platform, for those who wants to safeguard their privacy.

Hey Rob you have some great content. Thank you. I just ordered a Blackview BV6800 Pro. Switching from my LG Stylo 5 which isn't very old but it is already failing. Going to try and use it without Google which can be tricky with my job as I need to use maps. Any suggestions to which way I can go with that?

Apple slows your phone down if you don't do an update. My iPhone stated getting really slow, a message came up saying I should update the OS for performance improvements, I did the update and then it was fast again. makes me sick. Ditching Apple products.

If what you say is true, and I believe it is, doesn-t matter if you don-t have a cell phone at all, there are so many other ways for your info to be had and already has your info.
