What he totally missed is that small square is DENSE ENOUGH to show small ICONS, now imagine a Keyboard where every button is MODULAR?
Go look up Elgato Stream Deck, its a deck with buttons where each button is small screen [I think OLED], but this technology is not that dense and precise but its cheaper and its good enough to show custom static ICONS< Letters [fully dynamic keyboard where each letter changes, i speak 3 languages and instead of having stickers with extra language i could with button press change the keyboard from one language to another], or when you load a program the buttons change to shortcuts to represent actions in that programs and SO MUCH MORE>
I will buy one as soon as they make it, its AMAZING

it might be 40% brighter per dot for capellix, but as a whole regular led's are far brighter. it even showed clear as day on video, so i can only imagine it being even more relevant in person. smaller, more compact, more efficient? sure, and there could be use for smaller leds especially on display modules, but as leds being used to produce bright rgb? not a chance

It finally happened: I was clickbaited by Gordon! We'll get you for this.
I do hope these new LEDs make their way into flashlights. Maybe AA powered but as bright as 18650 powered ones. I was here for Ryzen. -

I see this tech maturing over the next year and finding it's way onto the face of keyboard keys. Effectively taking RGB keyboards in a whole new direction.
