-PCWorld Looking into the razer blade 15. I'd most likely be editing 4k video as I am making a documentary and will need some decent quality footage thrown in here and there. I'm very low budget and the Blade seems to be my best cheapest option if I get one that's refurbished. I'm so low budget that I'll pretty much just be filming with a couple of gopro hero 7's in 4k mode. If anyone thinks getting the laptop is a mistake please share your thoughts before I cough up 1300 bucks. Obviously my doc isn't supposed to be any type of hollywood film, but I would love to add all kinds of edited content, color adjustments, and lighting changes using premier and other adobe applications. If you can't tell, I'm a first timer in the world of video editing so I want to be sure I'm getting the best outcome for the least amount of money.

I finally made the decision to go with the lenovo X1 extreme gen 2. It has 2 separate 1TB hard drives, 32GB of ram, the new GTX1650 4 gb graphics card, and the 4K screen. There's not much it can't do. I really can't ask for too much more. My only hope is that in the future they can put these internals into the yoga 2 in 1 form factor but for now I think this is the best option available on the market today. I actually had a 2-in-1 on my last machine and actually didn't use it as a tablet very often so I don't think I'm gonna miss it

I have always preferred a 17- laptop for anything I do. I'm just really starting to get into video editing and still not sure which editing program I'm going to use I know I want something that will optimize whichever I choose to use.
Davinchi was a possibility but is just way too much. I'm down to choosing either Premier or Vegas 17. Unfortunetly didn't learn a whole lot from this video except that you guys need to go workout 2 times a week at planet fitness if you can't even carry a backpack with a 17- laptop in it.

Informative, but a little winded. The Title refers to video editing but you all were talking about gaming as well? It's important to stay on point. Also, you probably should put a disclaimer that your video editing software of choice is Premiere because Final Cut Pro on a Macbook Pro runs pretty well. Just my. 02.
