My initial experience with the SN30 Pro+ was a bad one. The battery in it was defective and ended up frying the controller (complete with a burnt electronics odor. But that seems to have just been an unfortunate fluke, because the replacement I got for it has been going strong for a long time. It's a fantastic controller that has ended up being my go-to for most of my Switch games. It's one of the most comfortable controllers I've ever held, only rivaled by the Wii U Pro Controller. If you have large hands, you're probably going to love this controller. The width across the top is especially nice. (It doesn't get significantly narrower at the top like the Xbox One controller)

I Actually install cemu (wii u emulator) on my pc, and some games use gyroscope, like zelda breath of the wild.
Its posible to emulate the gyro using the mouse but the feeling is not the same.
So I decide to buy some gamepad with gyro, and must be compatible with this emulator.
dualshock 4 works fine with ds4windows drivers, but its more expensive.
nintendo pro controller works with betterjoy for cemu, but its more expensive too.
I think that this one can be the solution to my litle problem using betterjoy.
thanks for the review; )

I found the DualShock4 controller to be pretty uncomfortable. Sony moved the face buttons and d-pad further out to the edges of the controller to accommodate the touch pad, and the handles are now straighter/flatter (less ergonomic in my opinion, so you can't _quite_ hold it the same way as previous DualShocks. (I feel like the buttons are also slightly closer together but that's probably my imagination) I always find myself moving my hand at a weird angle to push the buttons on the DS4 and it gets tiring.

I have an SN30 pro and a pro+ and have been in love with them. we bounce back and forth between the switch and PC and it is incredibly easier and faster to use the 8bitdo controllers compared to any other. the switch pro controller, on the other hand, is a pain in the ass to do that with, so it gathers dust now.
these are my new favorite controllers, next to the steam controllers, which i love to use for certain types of games, and games that were made without any controller support.

VERY IMPORTANT! This controller has about 10% more input lag compared to joycons, and 15% more compared to switch pro controller. On pc it was 15% less responsive than the ps4 controller V2 and about 10% less responsive than the xbox one controller. While it is versatile and high quality, either the polling rate is much less than 150 hz or something is very wrong with it's internals. Tests were made wired and bluetooth and with firmware 5. 0.

I think 8bitdo needs to make the sn30 pro plus wired not detachable and they need to use metal sticks like Power A controllers do. The plastic nub sucks and wears out easily at least in ps4 controllers. With that said I usually don't play games using the sticks press/clicks much anyways. Also I like that the L2 and R2 triggers are now analog on the sn30 pro plus unlike the sn30 pro.

I had to get this replaced twice before I got one that works.
First one would just constantly d-sync from everything, the next one had a D-pad that like, grinded against the sides of the shell and was broken in less than a day, and the third one seems okay now finally but I mean if they are that defective out of the box how long until this one dies in a similar manner?

I have the new 8bitdo Pro 2 and it is really good. The comfort is great, the analog sticks and buttons are very good and the dpad is the best on any modern controller. But sadly the R2 and L2 buttons are very lose and you can press them really easy sometimes also by accident without noticing it. Thats the reason i might consider returning it and getting an Xbox xontroller

Can you use any charger head when charging this? Cuz I just got mine today and hadn't realized until I got it that it didnt included a charger head/power brick. I'm kinda scared to use my phone's powee brick cuz I'm not really sure how many watts that this controller needs to at least charge descently. I dont wanna fry mine.
