with My 4k 144hz acer HDR screen, I get between 100 & 130 FPS on my 1080ti PLAYING OLDER GAMES that support 4k. But I keep my LCD set to 120hz because it runs at 10bit color equivalent with the displayport 1. 4 restrictions. My FPS is only 120 on average anyway I cant tell the difference between 120hz to 144hz but i can tell different from 98hz to 120hz so yeah thats how i look at it. Im all about the older games running 4k right now & when cards go down in price ill try out metro exdos on my new 3080ti or what ever its called.

Funny i game everything at 4k ultra almost every game Gigabyte RTX 2070 AMD Zen 3600 4. 2ghz 24gb ram 3200ghz gtx 1060 for phys x and an external 4 core audio card no audio stress on cpu, no phys x stress on main gpu or cpu every base covered and i always put RTX on, frame rates are always high and everything runs silk smooth ive run every ray tracing game at 4 k ultra graphics some setting i don't care for bloom, motion blur, drop shadows to high.

I tried so hard to work around things to get a decent 4K performance, but it's not really a thing in 2019 sadly, true 4K over 60 fps even with the Ti is almost impossible to grasp, so I just got for a 2080s with 1440p and 144 hz. it will serve me well for the next 3+ years and it will handle newer titles at 100+ fps without problem, on top of that between monitor and cards I saved something like $600

Will the 5700 xt do ok on a 4k tv. I was thinking about the gigabyte oc gaming 8gb card and I want a 42 or 50 inch tv. Im gonna go with the ryzen 3800x and a pci express 4. 0 ssd for the operating system and put my games on a 2tb sata 3 ssd. My main game is the Division 2. What I don't understand is how a $300 ps4 pro can do 4k but a $475 card might not. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks

2080 Ti without a doubt, but when it comes to NVLink with most if not all DLSS DX12 games with Two RTX 2070 Supers. Shown plenty of benchmarks showing that the NVLink 2070supers surpassing the 2080 TI. Both facing some
Cpu bottlenecking with last year-s best and not so much this year.

Ok so no beating around the bush. I have had many gpu's as of late from a 1080ti to a 2080ti and a few lower end in between and the ONLY CARD THAT WILL DO 4K MAXED OUT ABOVE 60fps iiiiiiiiiisssssssssss. that's right the 2080ti. everything else is gonna be subpar

Had an RTX 2080 since it's release and basically every game I can play at 4K Ultra 60 as long as AA is set to Medium or low, which at 4K is fine anyway. If 60fps is your monitors refresh rate which at 4K most are, then a 2080 is the minimum for Ultra 60.

The
the ONLY answer is the rtx 2080ti unless you want to start turning settings down which honestly for me defeats the object of cranking it up to 4k in the first place if you're happy to turn settings down just play at 1440P and be done with it.

The only option is a 2080 super? -. I disagree with almost everything these dudes say. That guy with the beard is so misinformed it-s not even funny.
Don-t even think about 4K unless you have a 2080ti.
