Lol Verizon 5g and lte upload speed is garbage, I get 200mbps and 60up on metro by tmobile on band 66 on my note9 consistently any time of day withing a 20mile radius of my home. them 5g speed test will eat up your data in no time. I'm perfectly happy with a consistent 200mbps speed, plenty to do anything needed. It's the upload speed that people need to make any difference, uploading videos to YouTube in seconds would be the only benefit to 5g. consistency is what is needed, then theres no need to download a whole season of a tv show, because with tmobile's consistent speed covering all areas youd be able to DL as needed or stream just fine as I have been do all along. I can stream 1440p just fine on my factory unlocked note 9, metro cant limit unlocked devices to 480p streaming, only there metro branded phones are capped at 480p without paying the extra $10 hd streaming fee. suckers

I'm using it under -T-Mobile's 5G- Network and -gets 5G signal everywhere- in -NYC Metro area-
The caveat is that T-Mobile's -sub-6 GHz band- is nowhere as fast as Verizon's -mmWave- band. It still is way faster than LTE -- averaging about 700 MB speeds but not close to the 1+ GB that mmWave delivers.
I can't wait for T-Mobile to deploy their -mmWave- nodes. But you -have to be close- to it -to get the 1+ GB speeds. - Otherwise, when you're further away from it, it'll fall into the slower -sub-6 GHz- node.

Also, I think I'm going to experience 5G when it's mature enough. I mean I got my first 3G phone in 2010, the Nokia 5800, as a gift when I was 13. Then I had my 1st LTE phone in 2018 which is a hand me down Galaxy S6 from my brother.

I have a question though, if you bought this 5g phone do you have to change your old sim card (from your 4g phone) to a new one just so you can use its 5g capabilities or it's fine to just use your old sim on your new 5g phone but does it work? btw very this is a very good video!

This reminds me of when 4G was being released over 3G. So it-s just the same old thing new replacing older version. How ever this speed is super. Ps earlier this year I was hearing all kinds of Suspicious concern about this? Am sure this just a step to 5-6G

Here it is the last week in June and I'm researching Samsung's newest Devices. But on T-mobile Store app alot of the reviews are really horrible! People are saying the data connection keeps dropping constantly!

So playing a YouTube video at 720 will only buffer every 45 seconds instead of every 30 seconds. Sounds amazing. I was planning on pulling trigger for 5G this may of caused me to change my mind.

I'm more than happy with my 4G to be honest. I think at the moment 5G is just for those competitive idiots who want it for the sake of having it. It's their money they are wasting so whatever lol.
