I enjoyed the discussion on DLSS (I don-t have a gfx card that supports it, so it usually goes over my head. Things in the PC world (no pun intended) have gotten exciting again since Ryzen appeared, and it looks like this year will be amazing with Ryzen 4000, Navi 2, and the new consoles. And of course Intel next-gen CPUs and Zen 3 (if they don-t get delayed.
It-s weird that I-m getting an alert (under Inbox of the Youtube app) for this episode, but the video doesn-t appear at all under Subscriptions (All. It does appear under Subscriptions if I specifically select PC World.

Hey Hayden your fanboy for Nvidia is showing, don-t be hurt because the console isn-t using an Nvidia SOC.
Before I get comments, you guys are supposed to be neutral pc technology enthusiast. Check your biases at the door. I get it sometimes a technology is exciting but let-s not shit on the competition because you don-t like it.
To not understand the economics and environment of consoles is unbelievable, they have a SOC budget and other considerations like keeping backward compatibility in mind, so the decision to not go with Nvidia was a simple one for them.

Ok I was going to listen to this whole show because I really like the things you guys talk about. But the sad thing is that it feels like I'mlistening to a bunch of Valley Girls. It's continuous uptalk, the whole time! Every damn statement sounds like you're asking a question. lol. that's bad form and a horrible habit to have. Only Gordon sounds like man. if you want to be reminded of how Ebglish is supposed to be spoken, listen to him! lol
Anyway. I had to break it off, sadly. it's unlistenable for me. Better luck next time hopefully.

I dont care for DLSS. When it first came out I said it would suck because applying AI and deep learning for Antialiasing is a terrible idea. People were too busy fanboying over those buzz words and trying to justify their overpriced new RTX cards to notice how crap the -feature- was though. I just want good old fashioned SSAA or SGSSAA back in my games. I'm willing to take the big performance hit to get the image quality im after.

Eh, I've played job simulator and don't really care to sit there and play with everything around me. Yeah it's fun for a while, but I haven't gone back. Give me Half-life Alyx any day.
I want to have to have a purpose, a mission, a goal. Not just laying with my environment aimlessly.
To each their own. I definitely want something different from VR than you do.

Brad: -DLSS 2. 0 already was available in two games that are kinda crappy and nobody really cared. -
Also Brad, two seconds later: -) and Deliver Us The Moon, which I haven't actually played but it looks cool. -

DirectML for RDNA 2 is the same tech and can be huge for 1st person gams and fighting games hitting 120fps - upscale 4K. Hopefully AMD can match DLSS 2. 0.
