Thank you for the information. I've been struggling with the building of my new PC for 2 days. I've built PCS before but not with this new type of memory. There was no mounting screw for the m2 memory and nothing in the case would fit the mounting hole. It wasn't till I saw your video that I realized the cover over the m2 socket was actually a heat sink. So I followed your instructions once I realized that, and everything finally came into place. My biggest complaint is having to go find a screw to hold down the m. 2 unlike laptop ram which just clicks into place.
As I was looking through my box of screws I was getting more and more scared I couldn't find one but eventually I found one.
