ive been buying parts for last month because of pc build and bought a giga master x570 whick locks me to the 5900 choice i wanted. i knew intel was doing alder lke but all the things they did ever since they removed hyperthreading of the i7 has been 1 year wait after another. i got the x570 master for 171 uk pounds super cheap so decided not to wait any more. i will wait for cpu for price drop. not in a rush as shuch but saved on all parts. triple corsair capela cooler white 90 ppounds, 1tb wd 550 69 pounds but also geting a wd 850 2 at black friday. trident z ram was 180 pounds 30 pounds more because of brittexit taxes. and my be quit case 802 at 120. a white 850 corsair power suply was 90 and i ony wanted white cables but dam priceing. so im comited now to amd 4.

Mining farms with hundreds+ cards probably have the capital to move to another country, if they didn't, they could sell thier stock more quickly to other mining operations. Putting them all on Ebay is probably thier last resort.
The gpu situation is not a surprise, but is a sad display of greed. There are sellers out there (very very few) who put rules like 1 card /customer into play, its a shame that most online sites cant even make an effort to get a few cards into gamers hands.

I ordered a 3080 sea hawk for 1500 euro as my current order has been delayed for antoher 6 months so makes it 1 and 1/2 year now iv'e been waiting.
Next day my brain started working again and i cancelled it this is so mest up hopefully resolves soon i dont like removing eye candy on my games.

I do not mean to sound rude, and this may be an audio glitch, but it frequently sounds like Brad needs to mute and clear his throat because I find it it difficult to listen. I instinctively start clearing my own throat in some lizard-brain attempt to fix it.

It was a fun show, but I think you should use this quiet time in the industry to do some special episodes, like the one with Hayden and the keyboards many years ago. Maybe one with mice, speakers, headphones or some other peripherals. I really liked that episode!

This is going to sound crazy but, I bought my 3090 off eBay last year for $2200. At the time I thought I was getting ripped off. Boy, am I glad I bought it. There almost double that now.

I still use my old HDDs (500GB and 1TB. I run OpenZFS 2. 0, so I run 2 striped 500GB partitions and 1 500GB partition and I support both with a 90GB SSD cache and a 30GB SSD cache.

Good Point. When I got my Ryzen 1700 in 2017 PUBG had no idea at all what to do with all those cores and threads! lol. I was rocking 23fps at 1080p Medium settings. Yikes.

3d cache will not really help most people
lows will stay the same, you might gain some fps on highs
making the drops even more noticeable

Cool Master burned me on a AOI, single 120. Was not expensive and it has cost them huge, I have not bought ANYTHING from them and never will.
