whether we are willing to admit it or not change is always going to be difficult for some and change often caters to new generations.
Had it with Xp to Vista - yes it was bad, so Win 7 alleviated that, but many people stuck on to XP for years
Windows 8 - yes that was also bad, but some people like live tiles and want it back,
WIndows 10 for years many just didn't want to get used to it and stayed with Win 7
It will be the same with Win 11 were the main consternation is the placement of the start button.

I still can't believe the people behind the world's most used UNIVERSAL standard can't figure out a universal name. USB3 was a huge mess with changing names and specs over time and creating 7 different logos for different things, it looks like USB4 will be the same mess.
If a new standard requires this many names and logos, maybe it's time they stop calling it universal

My Gigabyte 5700xt Gaming OC is now artifacting and crashing New World after getting a black screen and 100% fan speed in New World. I had a stable experience for the first 80 hours of game play but now I am worried about playing New World permanently bricking my GPU.

Should really fact check more regarding -Bricked- GPU's EVGA have stated that these cards returned to them were found to have manufacture related faults and had nothing to do with New World and those GPU's were replaced to the consumers

I wonder if these GPU deaths are just -regular- deaths which are, due to the beta issues with New World, (incorrectly) associated with the game. Are there any kind of numbers how many GPUs die during -normal- usage?

I want to swap to windows 11 cause I like the aesthetic much more but I dont know when I'll do it. don't want to get owned by some weird bugs from switching right away
reply

If a gpu dies while playing a game, its not really the games fault. Doesnt matter how poorly optimized it is, it just exposes gpu design flaws.

Your opinion of Windows 11 means nothing because you don't run it. Some of us have been running nothing but Windows 11 for MONTHS.
