I know people have said this before but just need to say it again. You videos are probably the best photoshop tips ever. One of the things that make them so different from others is that you never assume your audience understands the concept of each tool. I remember when I first started out and when watching a video of someone explaining a tip. I would have to go down a rabbit hole to understand the tools they used.
This comment is long winded but just to reiterate, you're AWESOME!

I love how you are always smiling and trying to make us understand every tool, you always explain every detail and because of you i was able to understand a lot of things that i didnt understand before ( im a Graphic Design student and believe me when I say that i learned from you more than I learned from my own teacher) thank you a lot for the video and we all appriciate the effort you put into making these videos.

The method I tend to use to get rid of the light or bright background, is to go into the layer style and add an inner glow or shadow and select a lighter or darker colour depending on the background. This will either lighten or darken the edge of your cut out.

This is great! Only problem Im having is after its done when I use the move tool to put my dog in another photo, all the dark edges come back instead of the normal group. How can I move finished photo including the normal group over to a new photo?

Thanks so much for this one Unmesh. I've been struggling with exactly this problem and trying to apply the techniques on your human hair videos; they got me close but not all the way, this one really helped.

Hey Unmesh, please can you point me to how you put together your setup for this video? From lights to tables to mics and everything. Currently trying to have a new office done. Thanks

How to remove edge fringe if the background is a brighten colour and I want to change it to another brighten colour, for example from light yellow to light green.

ok and in real situation when animals are sourrounded by textures, shadows, plants, fabrics, etc and hair confuses with background, what's the technique?
reply

i feel like this was easy because u had easy picture to work with. that background was almost solid black to begin with, subject was very good isolated
reply

thanks for this. but it does not work on a cat with dark fur. and it is even weirder with a cat with dark fur and the chest is white fur.

I am using Photoshop 2019 on desktop. As you have shown, my photoshop don't have the ' refine hair' button. How to enable it?
reply

How to do this type of selection if refine hair option is not available? (it's not available in my photoshop version)
reply

I have a question for a long time how do you know the secrets of Photoshop? That's too much interesting
reply

What do I do if the Select Subject button doesn't select all of the subject? It's just selecting patches.
