LibreOffice is definitely a highly functional Office Suite. As a Microsoft Alumni I get Office365 for free and the only reason that I install it is for the added OneDrive storage. If it wasn t for that I would be perfectly happy just using LibreOffice.

Libreoffice seems nice at first, until you need to do something remotely complicated, then good luck finding instructions. As well as some functions being needlessly complicated i.e. mail merge from a spreadsheet.

LibreOffice is absolutely fantastic. I've been using it for years now without a single problem. It does everything I want and much more.

Only needed simple features (not a power user) and going OnlyOffice had menues just like MS Office that made the switch seemless.
