The point to remember is that of the above mentioned points only 2 are the most promising. 1) keep at least 5 GB's of space free in the internal storage. 2) clear cache every week (I do it every sunday) for all apps. If you follow this 2 steps your phone will not experience lag, stutter during usage. And if all of above doesn't solve the problem then it's just that your smart phone hardware (mostly processor) is out of date and is just not able to process all this load of new apps which have more features than before and need more cpu horsepower, so it's suggested to upgrade your device. In most cases buying a smart phone with the top of the line hardware (flagship) and atleast 64 GB of storage and 4 GB of ram will guarantee smooth operation of atleast 4 years if you are just a casual and not a power user.

Though I agree that most battery optimizers are crap it is useful to use one to prevent over charging of your battery and thus extend the life of the battery. I use AccuBattery Pro for this....it provides the ability to notify yourself when your battery is charged up to the known wear optimal charge limits for LiON batteries that have been tested. Some where around 80% charge. Since using it I rarely keep my phone plugged while on 100% which is what I used to do...my phone is only a year old and is still reporting above 100% efficiency after many charge cycles. I also tend to wear the battery down closer to zero compared to the past which also extends the life by reducing total number of cycles.

MY BATTERY TIPS : I'm never open my Bluetooth if I'm not using it and whenever I'm not using my phone I'll off WiFi and mobile Data that way my battery will be secure and those who think play with phone while charging is ok you guys really need to change that from now on cuz when you play phone while charging it gave effect to your battery let's say you watch YouTube video with high resolution the video itself harm the battery but at the same time the battery was increasing because you're charging so it's slow your battery and that can harm your battery if you keep doing that everyday

Hi! Thank you so much for these recommendations, I bought a Galaxy orbit j3 4 days ago and it is crazy slow. I noticed that my Memory says Approx. 1.4 GB of 1.8 GB memory used. Why? I have only taken 5 pictures. Any ideas. Thank you! I love this phone it's just way to slow.

Thank you for the information about speeding up my Android Phone. I appreciate your clear and concise instructions. I just purchased a new Galaxy 9. It is really fast compared to my old Galaxy 4. I hope to keep it fast with all this information. Thanks again.

My version of Android (7) does not have a Background Check option. It does have a process limiter with options from allowing from 0 to 4 processes, and standard (default). What do you recommend?

If none of these tips work to improve the performance of your Android device, it may be suffering from a hardware issue. So, it might be time to upgrade your device... Thanks for watching :)
