X you won't have to keep doing this! You can now do front and side delt training at once! With this combo deltoid destroyer you can be sure that you're targeting both heads of the delts at one time. But that's not enough. You see. often times there is a lot of confusion around about how to properly perform the side lateral raise. Tilt your pinky higher than your thumb is what you hear. Watch as I dispel that myth and hopefully save your shoulders in the process. Then, after you've seen how creative and effective your shoulder training can become with just one simple exercise. head over to and get the entire 90 day training program that shows you step by step how to train like the pros! Celebrity Trainer Jeff Cavaliere unlocks his vault of pro athlete training secrets and makes them available to you! The NeXt Generation of Fitness is here!

Jeff, in my neck of the woods we call that exercise -soda cans-. I've had this exercise -prescribed- to me by a couple different pt's as a rotator cuff exercise - not deltoid. But as I think about it - I'm not clear on which rotator muscle it's -supposed- to activate. Which rotator muscle is it supposed to hit and how would I hit it more safely than in the pinkie-up exercise you are suggesting we stay away from? Note that I understand the value of the band/DB raise you've shown for delts. Thanks

Ha I read your email. You're very right, the biggest guy is often the most dangerous one. But why? Cause his little supplements save him most of the time from serious injury. So much for the roid bashing.
But yea you're right, play it safe and have good form. Just don't like people with no knowledge and especially no experience talking about -supplements- the wrong way.

Have you heard of the brand Animal? They have a product called Flex. When I started bench I was having problems with my right shoulder and left elbow. Animal Flex has all those pains go away. Maybe do some research into that, or products like it. Could just be a placebo, who knows. Good Luck, injuries suck!

this guy obviously went through ONE bulk, and then kept his muscle at where it's at through working out with his plan. no one is going to get big as him with his meal plan and workout schedule. u need to simply bulk and cut and then u will look like him. THEN u can do his athleanx

what would you suggest for someone who has problems in one of his shoulders? I popped mine out playing rugby and the joint is really unstable now. im doing physio but it feels like its not helping much and i'm having trouble gaining mass in my shoulders. any suggestions?

-nilliterto Always start an exercise with your weaker arm first and use it as base for reps. One day both will be equal. Is a good idea to start with some alternate curls as first biceps exercise to pre-exaust your left arm before doing barbel curls.

-KingRockets Sorry typo. And come at me. Im a med student. And they aren't called medial deltoids, middle deltoids. Also the shoulder has quite a bit of stability, it's called the rotator Cufff muscles. This guy doesn't know much.

Jeff great video love your stuff. I'm a personal trainer from md and I love your style was wondering if you have ever used the TRX suspension trainer. If so maybe you could post a video of some of your workouts with it.

i can understand why, but your almost teaching too safe in this video. rotator cuff injuries will keep you outta the gym, BUT training the font delts too much will cause an in balance in your routine.
