X Program The rear deltoids (or rear delts) have definitely got to be one of the most overlooked muscles in the shoulders, let alone the upper body. Big mistake! Why? Because, when trained properly, the rear delts have the ability to unlock muscle strength and size in the rest of your upper body. The posterior deltoids contribute largely to the function of the rotator cuff and help to keep the front side and back side muscles of our kinetic chain in balance. Muscles in balance work better. and stronger! In this video I show you how to get bigger rear delts by training the muscles of the shoulder the way they are meant to be. I even show you a bodyweight deltoid exercise that hits the posterior delts big time! When you consider their function, the rear delts quickly become apparent that they are no less important than the front or side delts. In fact, some might argue that they are the most important of the three deltoid heads. You can train the rear delts with exercises like reverse flies or reverse flyes (depending on how you want to spell it, or bent over side laterals. That said, I think there are even better ways to work out the rear delts, and I show you four exercises to do just that. This includes a bodyweight only version that you can do literally anywhere, to light up those rear deltoids. Best exercise for rear delt mass, pump and growth is belly down inclined dumbbell row/raises with squeeze at top, You get a hell of a pump and deep muscle stimulus best exercise hands down do this after your (1)side laterals and(2) bent over laterals then do these then do cable back cross overs then finish off with shoulder v or Arnold press if you can! ,Trust me you Will not be able to raise your arms above your head and the growth you get is second to none you do 3 sets of each exercise when you can add shoulder press and frount work in on your next work out or alternate, Good luck and dare to dream.

For the last exercise I found the positioning very confusing and wasn't sure if I was doing it right. I came up with the solution of still lying on my back but tucking my elbows in to my body and then pushing off those. It seems to tense and work my rear deltoid but I'm juts wondering if its a good idea or not.

Guys, can someone help me out. I really did alot of chest presses and shoulder presses and neglegted the rear delt en back.
Now i have shoulder pain. Os this caused by weak rear delts?
Do weak rear delts cause inpingement?

I don't understand how to execute exercise no. 3 correctly.
I can do this for 15 minutes straight and I'm not very muscular (yet.
Where could be the failure? It's supposed to be a hard exercise as you say, isn't it?

Do you even have some exercise for winged scapula or rotator cuff?

should i do rear delts during shoulder or back day?
If shoulder day, should i do my first exercise just before overhead shoulder press?
If back day, should i leave rear delts til last?

It's hard to do certain shoulder workout movements after doing bicep curls due to my biceps being tired out, can I do that final position but keeping my arms extended instead?
