I really want to know if Jeff cheats on his diet or how he keeps it up: ? cause I eat very well throughout the week i. e chicken brown rice and sweet potato, but it gets really hard and that's when the term -cheat meal- and how it effects your progress has always been very difficult to comprehend. Like how are you (a normal human being) supposed to eat the foods i just listed 365 days a year and stay sane? I do not even know how to really change it up using healthy alternatives such as different hot sauces etc for reasons such as budget and very minimal alternatives. There must be a way to make this easier.

Amen! Could not agree more. Chosing what you put in your body is an act of self-care. If the latter is underdeveloped, one searches for quick fixes and shortcuts. Luckily, once the transition is made, it is a one-way street as it translates in feeling better in your body. I have been on junk food for many years myself and now can't even imagine eating stuff I ate a year ago. I believe the key is to get as many aspects of our lives right as possible. And body/nutrition is a large part of the whole. As they say, your body is the temple for your soul.

Jeff, you are so right! Sometimes instead of explaining to other people like you do (I mean to people who understand nothing about diet and fitness) that my healthy choices will always trump everything that THEY might eat or do, I prefer keeping quiet and do my usual stuff. Fed up of explaining to people that eating healthy and working out is not just a past time or something out of the ordinary- I'm only keeping fit and making better choices than them!

Jeff, serious question. What about smoking? All of your rant videos say no junk food and no drinking and I agree with that, I'm a hard gainer as of now and I smoke. How is that going to affect my progress to look like you? I know it's bad and my cardio suffers but I don't do 20-30 min of cardio anyways. Is smoking going to kill my gains? Hope you answer this question as I have for the last 3 months now been following your advise to the t.

Hi Jeff,
Quick question regarding your train hard vs. train long theory - is it a bad thing to do functional movement related exercises before lifting heavy? I train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and my conditioning days are usually 95 minutes long, but half of that is dedicated to functional exercises before my actual workout. The total time I spend lifting is usually around that 45 minute mark.
Cheers,
Jesse

All I can afford at the moment is 1kg of rice, 3 eggs, 3 steaks (plus fruit, sandwich, cereal, veggies, when I have empty stomach) Per Day, and I already won 10+kg since december. What I researched got me into my actual diet diet and I can tell, nutrition is the key. I only buy creatine(5gr/day) because it's way cheaper than protein. And of course, a proper daily routine exercising.

How come there's no recipe with the meal plan, and why doesn't the Athlean-X meal plan say how much of each piece of food for each meal I should eat? When it says grilled chicken breast with brown rice (for example, I just even out the portions & eat until I'm full. Is that ok? Cuss I heard you should stop eating before you feel full aka -bloated-. Thanks for the answer in advance!

You've said before Jeff about abandoning cheat days and having a cheat meal and that it can be beneficial. can you please make a video on that topic? Cause unless you're literally a robot, I'm sure you yourself have gone out and gotten ice cream with the wife, or had a burger once in a while. or you're just a much better person than everyone else lol

Two months into MAX Size training and nutrition plan. Not following the nutrition plan to the tea, but I substitute the idea of the meal plan. and guess what? TWO MONTHS into the program I've went from 25% body fat to 15% roughly. gut to abs almost there, boulder shoulders, arms, powerful legs and pecs. PECS! Jeff you da man!
