Eating Over A Pound of Soy Everyday For A Month BLOOD TEST RESULTS Albuquerque: I tried a diet where 80% of my diet was a nutritionally complete soy food, so the vast majority of my protein intake was soy-derived, for 6 months. The impact on my psyche was huge, I was much more emotionally unstable and had much more negative thinking.
I think this is quite a bit more than what you did, and perhaps somewhat unrealistic for the average person. I didn't do it to experiment with phytoestrogens, I did it for the convenience, as the food was easy to make.
As a result, I believe that eating soy for practically every meal, as I did, can have a negative impact on men BUT it's likely fine to eat a handful of times a week. Now, I can appreciate the fact that articles written pretty much telling everyone EAT SOY AALLLLL THE TIIIIIIME are written for the majority of people, which is women - who should be relatively unaffected by phytoestrogens since they're used to high levels of estrogen. because. they're women. But I think more research should be done on how they affect men.
And, again, I can appreciate how angry everyone is at men for. being men. and get triggered by male-focused studies, but c'mon. We're people too, and biologically different from women.
EDIT: Maybe next time (I'm pretty sure you said in here you might do the experiment again) insist getting an estrogen test. It's possible that because you have a healthy body, it was fighting to balance against the higher levels of estrogen - accounting for increased testosterone. Much like people thinking they need more omega-3 to balance out their omega-6 intake - when really, they should just decrease their omega-6 intake and it'd be just fine.

Thank you for making the sacrifice to your diet. Nice to see someone actually put forth the effort. to confirm what a bunch of doctors and studies have already said. Because we're going to believe random YouTuber over them. I'm sure the test probably wouldn't have held more interest with a larger audience if you were some 45 year old dude with low T to begin with. That way, we could see if the fat decrease /lean muscle increase would contribute to increased testosterone.
Now go get about 5 haircuts, shave and find something in your closet that's not a hoodie. You look like a 17 year old lesbian. This is why people have such low opinions of vegans.

Q. Could you please tell how much qty a block of soy is?
Hey dude, thanks for this video, I have started eating a lot of Soy these days and just wanted to double check if it's good and your video just proved that!

reply

Soy is extreamely bad. That's why it's a posionous plant, because you are bot meant to eat it.
Fermented soy is what the Japanese ate. But I would pass on it too. Get Vitamin K2 somewhere else.

thanks for taking the time to do this experience Brian i searched a lot with no true information but your video made me believe that tofu is not harmful and okay to use for my diet with no worries
reply

Thankyou for proving this theory. Been vegan for some time and was skeptical about having so much soy as after the gym, I tend to make tofeggs and at times make seconds. maybe third lol
reply

Fermented soy vs non-fermented soy.
You need to be careful thinking it's now Ok to just eat any soy.
Plus, taking estrogen can raise your testosterone levels.

reply

Soy doesn't work like that. There's two ways a hormone works, either you increase it's amount in the blood, or you increase its receptors. Soy affects the latter.

Wanted to watch this to see if its true. I cant consume milk so I drink soy to make oatmeal or my shakes etc. Have been feeling stronger lately.
reply

Its not really a controlled experiment, what if he worked out which boosted his T levels thus making people think that the soy had no effect
