Rep Ranges for Intermediate Trainees Explained - Muscle Growth and Strength vatsal: I just discovered you. You are absolutely amazing man! Keep up the good work: )
Btw I had a query. I am only 18 years old and one of my trainers at my gym told me not to strength train until i turn 21 or 22. I think he said it because my bones and tendons aren't fully developed yet
So to substitute for my strength training i was thinking of working in 6-7 rep range. So you think thats a good way to build strength and a bit of size at the same time without having a risk to snap some shit up haha.
Regards!

For maximum muscle size, does the 6-12 rep range apply to legs, abs, and all other muscle groups as well? Also, does the 6-12 rep range to build max muscle apply to all types of exercises like compound, isolation, bodyweight, and midrange compound lifts? Thanks.

So can I do like 1 week with low reps for strength, 1 week for hypertrophy and then 1 week to increase lactate threshold with high reps? Because I might just have found the reason I'm not making a lot of gains anymore.

But honestly, interesting video! What would u then recommend? One month of rep ranging 1-5 then next 6-12 followed by 15-20? Or make a hybrid like do three different rep ranges in a week.
