After training with a 3- or 4-day workout split for 1-2 years consistently, you may have hit yet another frustrating plateau. You-ve put on a bit of muscle and lost some belly fat, but there-s a lot more to be desired. And of course, those sweet days of newbie gains in which you add 10 lbs to the bar every week and rapidly see changes in the mirror are long gone! Fortunately, there-s a simple way to get through this roadblock: and that-s by increasing training volume and incorporating advanced forms of periodization. Do this wrong, however, and you-ll be putting yourself at risk of under-recovery, rendering your hard work useless. In this video, I-m going to break down the best 5-day split for muscle growth and share a fool-proof template that you can

This workout seems to work with a rest day between the upper/lower and PPL, what if my 5 days are monday to friday, can i still do?
What about start with PPLPP, and next week just continue with LPPLP and so on, my question is, do i need to change anything with the workout i would be doing only 1 time this week? since i would rest 4 days from wednesday to monday, when i would workout that muscles again, do i add more volume or something?

-musclemonsters I saw that you have planned a rest day on wednesday and sunday ( at 02: 10. Will I be able to performe this plan from monday to friday, with rest on saturday and sunday? or will I have some problems with fatigue, when training like this?
ps: I would like to train under the week before work.

Has anyone tried this specific routine and exercises? If so, how long does it take to complete the full routine. I don-t want to spend to much time in the gym as I-m on a time crunch. I usually spend about 1 hour and 30 min in the gym

I just started this type of split based on recommendation from a trainer at my gym. This is the best explanation of the split I have seen. Thank you for the video. Someone has been listening to my conversations. hmmm. Subb'd.

On day one should we need to make 1 or 2 exercises for the biceps and triceps, because if we add let's say 1 exercise for biceps and two for triceps the workout will last so long (longer than 2 and a half hours.

Thank you Bro, thank you thank you thank you!
It's been a long time since I felt an endorphin rush as well as a hard rock pump. I finally leave the gym with a smile on my face
We are all gonna make it!

It might just be my science back ground, but when people mention science they really need to dig into the details; N? error? age group? males? females? control? questions to be answered in the future?

I have too much going on with work and family to do 5 days.
So it-s legs, push, off, pull, off, full body, off.
By full body I emphasise what I need to improve on and get some extra arm volume.
