Building muscle and strength around a busy schedule can be a daunting task. As things like work, school, family, and career demand more of our time, the number of days we can train can quickly go from 4 or 5 days per week down to 1 or two days per week. This time shortage can be short-term or long-term, and in most cases, we're not exactly sure how long we'll be tied up. Circumstances like this make it even more important to make all the gains we can with our available time. Unfortunately, many guys don't take this approach. Instead, many guys completely stop training when things get busier than usual. They'll say something like, if I can't train properly, why even bother, or I'll get back in the gym when my schedule goes back to normal. These mindsets will not only stop you from making progress when you can, but you'll lose a lot of your hard-earned gains faster than you'd like. The same way your body adapts to training, you must learn to adapt to your schedule and still find ways to progress. This video will go over a time-effective 2-day weight training routine that can not only help you maintain but will increase your gains if you train hard enough

I train upper body - lower body split each week.
Each workout is 3 exercises because my body doesn't respond to full body workouts or workouts longer than 3 exercises + i get bored from more than 3 exercises.
I love short and heavy workouts.
The other days i train my martial arts.
Works perfectly for me.

One of the most efficient routines that I've seen. I definitely think you can make progress with 2 days a week. I do each workout in under an hour. This also gives you room to fill in 3 other days with cardio or another sport, and still have 2 days to recover.

Full body Workout 2 times per week works great. Recovery, sleep and motivation is much better and the energy towards lifting is fantastic. No fatigue, sleep problems, joint problems or loss of motivation.

What I have learned. I know why Baker Mayfield is not doing as good as he should in the NFL, he is spending all his time in these Videos and commercials and not studying film: )

With a busy schedule, keeping your food in check is very important. I meal prep on days im on the road. Before I did that I would eat like crap.

Question, if I follow this 2 day split. Can I do some home calisthenics workouts inbetween, pull ups, press ups, ab work. Or is this over training?
