3 Tips for Guaranteed Muscle Gains on Any Diet or Workout Program mark: So I'm 133 pounds, 6 1' and pretty skinny. I'm going to start going to the gym to try and bulk up, but try to try and stay relatively lean (like Bruce Lee-. I really am new to all this by the way, and have a limited budget. I have a friend who regularly trains in the gym, who gave me a list of excersizes to do each day. I'm wondering should i follow it, or would it be to advanced for someone like me. Also, what weight should i use regarding dumbbells and stuff, i don't know wether to try and push myself or use slightly lighter ones to prevent injury. Also if you have like a video or guide on how much and what i should be eating that would be much appreciated as well, and how many days a week/how long should i be training?

hey Alain, just wanted to comment how great your tips are! I downloaded Mass in a flash and your Arm Assault workouts. I've been following your tips about gaining weight and I believe they will work great!
I'm here asking about whether I am recovering fully from each intense workout. I play volleyball and usually I would workout and days I don't have it, and this leads to soreness on days I do have it. I am just wondering if I should tone down my volume if I am sore going into practice or does the soreness not affect my performance and ultimately my gains and muscle gain? I am trying to gain mass during the season. thanks hope for a reply!

for the protein, on a bulk, wouldn't you want to up your protein to about the target weight you want to be. so If I'm 170 and want to be 200. at 170 pounds, wouldn't I want to eat 200 grams of protein so as I go up in weight I'm able to sustain and provide for the muscles as they're growing?

How would I get bigger? I have trouble getting big and I'm thinking it's cause I have fast metabolism how do I slow that down?
Please help.
