How Many Meals Per Day to Maximize Muscle Growth? - 3 Meals VS 6 Meals Piter: I have a question, so you should eat about 1g of protein per 1lb of bodyweight, right? So if you eat 4 times a day 20g of protein per meal that only makes 80g of protein a day thats not enough to build muscle right? how do you complete the rest? In my case I weigh about 220 lb and I'm not fat, How to get the rest of the protein I need? And also I remember that the avarage body can only use 35-40g of protein max per meal, the rest goes to the toilet. I literally have not enough day to get the protein I need

Years later and this sounds good! I dont have time to do 6 meals a day. Id rather cave in on3 meals being like 800 cals each.
