Thanks for sharing! I've been reading and seeing a lot about training to failure or nothing. The argument seems to go along the lines that everything up to the last three reps is just junk. Having tried the 'to failure approach', I have to admit that I end up feeling, as pointed out in this video, less able to apply myself to the rest of the workout, and, as a consequence, experience more aches and pains post workout.
I've been training for several years, and, whilst I would not consider myself an advanced lifter, I'm certainly not a beginner. However, I'm no longer in the first flushes of youth and wonder if the 'too failure' maxim is really appropriate to individuals who might need longer to recover.
I suppose it is also a matter of what the goal of training is. I suppose, for myself at any rate, I'm not looking to burst out of my existing wardrobe, but to keep a reasonable physique and postpone the inevitable sarcopenia that comes with the aging process.

Just increase ur session train longer rest as much as u like dont follow rest times rest as u want befor ur next set this is proven before all u know it alls jump in and say shit. if u want to get bigger eat big. most of the diets are more for guys in competition. Not saying anything wrong with diet because it's good but for the average jo just train try and eat good as much as u can. personally have had no problem with this. I have done a lot of research
And a test was done one group rested for a minute the other group rested for more the out come was no differant. a t all scientific shit which makes little difference. As they say listen to ur body. never fails
