The one inevitable question any lifter is often asked is -How big are your arms? - Muscular arms exude that you mean business and possibly have -the secret- to success in the gym. So, if bigger arms are the goal, if you want to pack on some substantial mass onto your biceps and triceps, then let-s look at a few ways we can form a plan of action while sifting through some of the best and worst arm exercises around

DO NOT do straight barbell exercises for curl or triceps if you want to avoid injuries. This forces your joints, shoulders, elbows, and wrists into an unnatural position. I used to use them and got elbow pains lasting for many months. If you are going to use a barbell for these, at least use the curly bar which provides a more natural position. Dumbells and cables are far better for these exercises. I stay away from barbell exercises altogether and I no longer have problems with joint pains. It used to happen all the time when did barbell exercises in the past.

my beloved meatheads, the Pareto principle is beyond that: it states that some data tends to separate considerable from each other, resulting in a concentration either at the higher values or at the lower values because there exists this gap, in muscle building, that would translate in exercises that produce good results (few) and exercises that produce not good results (many. That is if we are purely speaking about bodybuilding.

Way to much talking in this video. I-ve spent half of my life in gyms and at my strongest my arm was 21-! Some of these exercises you say are the worse I-ve gotten good results from.
In the introduction you talk about big arms and what they mean. Well, there is no arm that can not be broken very easily. Big arms are not anywhere near an indicator of brute physical strength in the way a large muscular back is.

Feeder workouts. I myself take 10lb dumbbells (some people may need 5lbs, lie down on the bench and do 100 tricep extensions, (or to failure) then immediately sit up and do 100 hammer curls. (Or to failure) That's 1 set. I know 10lbs doesn't sound like a lot, but trust me, after 3 sets your arms are on fire. Do these every night before bed for 12 weeks, trust me.

I dont much agree just because of the sources used in the video especially triceps ones. I know the website but triangle push up is a strain exercise everything is under bad angle for elbows, wrists even shoulders dont feel good. I find that close grip bench with ez bar in style triangle push up is good. I saw greatest results in terms of strength.

Dudes, trust me, do supersets in your training days, for bigger arms do supersets which combine biceps and triceps workouts, that really makes sense, my physical talent is not good at all, my wrist size is only 17. 5cm, but my arm after being pumped is 46cm with 13% bodyfat and 93kg weight, 188cm height, and I'm already 36 years old though

-6: 01 strict lying extension still would cause elbow pain. You can try bend over Triceps cable Pushdown, you need to hinge to 80 degrees and pull the cable so that elbows comes perpendicular to floor, then perform pushdown. It trains long head and no risk of elbow injury, you can go a bit heavy on this. Try and thank me later.

I can agree with this. What worked best for me was to lighten the weight, 13-15 reps, squeeze at the top, 2-3 second negatives. Best connection and sustained pumps: EZ bar scoop, reverse & spider curls, plate curls. Close grip bench, dumbbell skull crushers, Life Fitness long fabric grip cable extension over and under hand.

Using emg studies in isolation to determine a muscles effectiveness for hypertrophy is not effective. These studies show activation, which can mean more than just how much the specific contractile tissue your working is lifting the weight. Stabilizing causes a ton of activation. Doesn-t mean it will lead to more hypertrophy

Don-t want to troll, but the big guy-s tris are way too big for his bis - completely out of proportion. It-s because he-s going for pure size, and it proves that size isn-t the be all and end all when it comes to an attractive physique. If he lost three inches off his arms he-d look better.
