When it comes to an impressive male physique, a shortlist of muscle groups comes to mind right off the bat. Things like a big chest, broad shoulders and nice arms are often top the list. And if you've watched any YouTube videos surveying women on which male body parts they find most attractive, shoulders and arms are usually the top two. With this being the case, many lifters get hyper focused on those muscle groups and risk having underdeveloped legs at some point in their lifting journey. After all, unless you're a competitive bodybuilder, physique competitor or someone who walks around with short shorts that show your quads and hamstrings, your leg muscles can stay hidden and forgotten for long periods. But since Muscle Monster viewers are intelligent, self-aware lifters who aspire to have well-rounded physiques, you having developed legs that match your overall body is a vital goal. In this video I share five reasons your legs may not be growing and how to fix them so you can see new legs gains once again

In my experience, i needed to do legs more often to build better mind muscle connection. I realized that I wasn't really engaging my leg muscles during leg days the way that i needed to. So, i started doing 3 sets of squats every single day for a month before I started my actual workout. And let me tell you, my legs and butt completely changed, and now I only do 2-3 days of legs, but only one of those days is heavy, and the others are focused more on explosive movements and accessory work such as side lunges and kettle bell work. Tbh, most people have problems with engaging leg muscles during leg day because it's a big muscle group that requires a lot of concentration. This is the same reason why people also have under developed back muscles, big muscle require more effort to engage and use, and if you're not focused, you THINK your using the right muscles, but really you're NOT.

There are common rules to follow. Basics that will work for EVERYONE. Call them the -Laws of Gains- lol i. e. 5X5 programs, super setting, mixing cardio in, hypertrophy vs strength theories, etc. BUT undoubtedly we are all different and the body requires a smart mind to build on those -Laws of Gains. - For me, i've found keeping the body guessing is key for growth. Any time i plateau on a program it's time to drop the journal/spreadsheet and #'s. Maybe even take a week off. Come back fresh and switch over to hypertrophy or to strength vice versa. CHANGE is the only thing that is permanent and will yield permanent results when you learn how your body responds to it. Gotta embrace it.

Are we forgetting that genetics play a role in how your gains turn out as well? Heavy vs. light. small reps vs more reps. come on. What I've found in every video Ive seen is that no one is consistent. One guy will say going to failure is the best way, while another will say NOT going to failure is the best way. Sooo. the correct answer in my mind either way. The only thing that I would 100 percent put my money on with regard to true statements is -your form has to be right-. That's it.

Bro, simpler. Push pull system:
Push = chest shoulders triceps
Pull = back, traps and bicep
Squat on push, deadlift on pull.
Stick to compounds.
Alternate exercises, such as Bulgarians, lunge, goodmornings, etc. Point is, train legs every day (not to failure) 5x5 heavy or 4x10 light. They can take it. you'll add 100 lbs in 1 year to your lifts and your legs will grow huge. I went from 185 to 415+ deadlift in 18 months doing this. 135x5 to 245x5 squat same time.

For it legs it helped me to increase reps on easy weight while decreasing reps as I go up in weight
135-15reps
225-12 reps
315-12 reps
405-10 reps
I also noticed positioning my feet/legs differently on leg machines helped me a lot. When I use the quad machine I point my feet inward to form a pyramid shape and for hamstring machine I bring my legs closer together. Then for hack squat I-ll keep the same distance between my legs but change foot position

It's really really helpful boss, i had met with an ACL ligament of right leg, after 1-2 month of rest i was doing physiotherapy exercises and after 6-7 months i was started gym but, but in gym i was mostly doing quadriceps exercises more and forget about hamstring strengthening so that after 10 months i started realising that I have to do more foccuss on schedule and all muscle groups exercise.
Thank you so much for such an amazing video content.

I use to do squats all my bodybuilding life. And I realise that it wasn-t good for my legs. Leg press was that one that make my legs grow. Now I-m on hit regiments training 3 days split and I feel great I recovered like I never done before. 1 set per exercise less then 60 minutes in the gym. Listen to our body is the best way to training.

Let's say: is it appropriate for a trainer to train a variety of the upper body muscles(30min) first & finish with a variety of lower body(30min? or should you exchange often as in upper body then lower body, then upper body so & so until full 1hr?

I blast my legs so hard that I barely walk out the gym. Typically, I can only get once a week in before I'm tired. I do have my back and deads together together to ensure good hamstring development.
With that said, my calves are the worst muscle

I'm probably the other way around my legs are my strong point, my upper body is weak. Needs a lot of improvement. But will take this on board as I do tend to try push towards my max and not structured tend to do lots of different stuff in one day
