Having poor workouts more often than you should is the biggest reason you're not making as much muscle and strength gains as you should. And when you consider the tremendous time and energy investment that lifters put towards their workouts, it can be shocking that they don't always get more out of their training. To drive this point home, some quick math will show how much time is invested in these workouts and how important it is to maximize every training session. Let's say a workout on average is 1 hour and 15 minutes, which we'll quantify as 1. 25. Assuming you train in a commercial gym, let's say it takes roughly 30 minutes to get from your home to the gym floor performing your first set. Now let's add another 30 minutes from the time you finish your final set to the time you've showered, changed and are at home relaxing. Multiply that by 4 workouts per week, and we're looking at 36 hours per month. In most places globally, 36 hours is almost a whole work week. If you are a professional or plan to be one in the future, let's say you make around $1000 per week workweek. Are you ready to invest $1000 a month into workouts that suck? Well, that is what's happening to many lifters who workout 4 days per week and aren't getting the results they're after. And that's why this video topic is so crucial

I've been training for 15 years and I've neva had a night sleep of 7 to 8 hours. I was just a man who ddnt sleep much. I could stay up all night and just seat on the sofa 15mins and close my eyes and I used to recover like I slept for hours. It's only now I've turned 46 I can see that I need more sleep to recover. It makes me feel shit that all them years I was younger and I had crazy energy for training I ddnt sleep more than 5 hours a night and I've probably limited the muscle gains. If I did I probably would of looked much better than I do now. I guess I was a very hyperactive person who ddnt need much sleep. even if I have 2 days that I haven't slept I can lay down in bed to sleep and it will take me 2 hours to fall asleep.

Honestly, bodybuilding is one of the gayest pursuits a straight man can follow. -
-Fake Tan -Thongs -Obsessed with their appearance -Spends most of his time getting sweaty with other dudesDont forget the post workout-
When you have faith in God, you don't have to worry about the future. -
The real secret that NO FAKES NATTY wants to tell you is chicken, broccoli, and rice and training 7 hours per day, 9 days per week.

Poor sleep is my major dysfunction. I fall asleep alright, but wake up every two hours wide awake. Poor sleep will not only leave you drained, but will also retard you recovery. If you have any of the above issues, start with sleep.
Anyway, hairy underarms is repulsive. If you're into bodybuilding or fitness shaving is a mandate. If you feel you need to look more manly, grow a beard.

Wow this is VERY HELPFUL! Thank you! I was even going to go tonight (2: 37 am) but I'm feeling like ugh. and I have sleep apnea and insomnia a lot so my sleep pattern is WAY off! But the crazy thing is. I love working out. I just wanna see the growth and strength and weight loss. Thank you!

All the information in this video was very helpful! Now I'll know how far to take my training when I train, I'll also have less training and more exercise days along with my deloading days and weeks, and probably more focus on taking time off one week out of the month.

Will say, as someone who deals with chronic insomnia, the more tired I am, the shittier my workouts. If I'm on only a couple of hours of sleep, try as I might, even just body weight pull ups are a no go. Can't do a one. If I've slept well, can do around 14 or so.

1) Specific Goals.
2) Structured Programs for those goals.
3) Track progress
4) Make sure training intensity is 8 out of 10 each session
Avoid Failure
Deload Weeks
Days Off
Light Cardio/Stretching
Not enough calories

I look at it in a different way. If you spend 1 hour in the gym every day, then you have 23 hours left in the day to live your life. Not a big investment. You can look at however you want though. Glass half full or half empty

i just ate two chocolate bar before workout and ohh boy it gave me a lot of extra energy now i know what you mean, i was throwing 200pounds on bench with ease for 12reps and then my legs as well on squat just BEAST MODE!

What I do in terms of my spent on travelling and returning to gym is, I use that time for my walking activity as warm up and cool down respectively. So it covers my warm and cool down and also my daily step count.
