I have huge, tall, wide from delt to delt, thick traps all natural no steroids just Optimum Nutrition Whey protein powder and that has only 24 grams of protein and sometimes I forget to drink it. My traps workout starts with light weight on a bar bell 50 pounds for me. Then I lift with a shoulder width grip on the bar for 20 reps without breaking form. It-s important that you do not break form. Without stopping I widen my grip and at least past 8 reps anything after that is on you. Then without stopping I widen my grip without it hurting my shoulders if you feel pain stop and shorten your grip and go past 8 reps anything after that more power to you. Rest for 1- 5 minutes. Start to do shrugs shoulder width grip for 8 reps and 3 sets anything past that is on you. Watch your traps grow quickly!

IF he is using TRT, there could a number of reasons. If the male body isn't producing enough testosterone naturally then you could end up with excess estrogen, especially if you're diet is off because of so many foods that have estrogen producing minerals, i. e. sugar. Not enough testosterone can lead to excess body fat and next thing a guy knows, he's got bigger boobs than his wife/girlfriend. You know you're there when she gives you a bra for your Birthday but she's angry because your size is bigger than hers. Personally, I could care less if he's using anything or not. I come here for instruction, which I get, and laughter.

Tip: The upper fibers of the traps (in most people) tend to be type 2A fiber dominated (fast twitch oxidative) since we use them when carrying things (similar to the calves. If you dont see much results from the standard 8-10 range, do HIGh reps with added intensity (slow controlled eccentric contractions and a powerful concentric burst) for a few months and see what comes of it. I got little results in my traps until i adopted a high range (minimum of 20 reps. Started with 135 and saw BIG progress in a short amount of time

I like Incline shrugs for middle traps.
Problem with using the cable movements is that it crosses over with lats so much and I tend to work traps on shoulders day and middle and lower traps and oth back. So, some of these movements I probable would only do if I paired back with traps.
Do a lot of you guys pair traps with lats?

I was taught a trap exercise using the Lat pull down. Do not know the name. I have neverr seen anyone else using this exercise. Instead of grabbing the bar, you would hook your wrists over the bar and then you would pull the bar down behind the head while squeezing the trap at the bottom.

If I had a dollar for every uneducated, unproven statement comparing TRT to doing anabolic steroids I-d be a very rich 53 year old man who does TRT and as a young man did one cycle of Test/Deca/Anavar. Anyone thinking such before starting TRT is going to be very disappointed.

I-ve had pretty major problems with distal biceps tendinitis for a while now. And although it admittedly makes jerking off painful, there-s no way I-d make it worse just because my orthopedic surgeon has asked repeatedly if I-d take him up on a deal for free reach arounds.

so I have a group question. do you do the same style workout routine if your juiced as apposed to being natural. Im natural and 56 yrs old. heavy weight is bad on my joints and tendons lately. this is interesting style but I still want results.
