As a former multi sport instructor, gotta say you are an elite trainer. The one thing that all instructors struggle with, when it comes to connecting consistently with so many different types of personalities, is finding the right way for clients to visualize and implement the -thought- you are conveying. All of your posts offer many different examples of how to focus your mind on the essentials of each movement. You also always give folks, who may not be experienced, a novice option to help them gradually perform the graduated movement as well. Have a happy holidays lovely!

hi, after shoulder decompression surgery rehab, I developed scapular dyskinesia, that the PTs didn't identify for months, and I was unable to feel from an activated muscle perspective. after watching your shoulder and back videos, I'm guessing that the upper back ones are a better place to start for this. of the exercises, any you recommend for being more obvious to notice when other muscles are compensating or harder to do incorrectly, or other suggestions for how to identify when the target muscles aren't actually working? thx for any help.

OMG. This is exactly what I needed as I was just sitting here wondering how to work on my back with no gym and almost no weights. Thank you so much! Even though I'm older than you, I wanna look JUST like you when I grow up! --

Thank you, thank you so much! That felt great! I have mild supraclavicular tendinosis with pain between my arm and shoulder joint at the back. Been trying to improve scapula retraction and this move has provided much relief!

Your 17 bodyweight back exercises are absolutely great. When I did all the exercises, I get soreness for 3-4 days. My doubt is whether I have to select some of the exercises. In case of selection, which exercises to be chosen?

This is exactly what I needed today. With the gyms closed and weights constantly selling out, I didn-t know how to do scapular exercises at home. Thank you.

You are giving some perfect advice here. Really helps to feel what needs to be working. I was doing bent over rows all wrong, letting the wrong muscles kick in

i dont know why but just can't do it, even when i can do at least 6 strict pull up i can't do this exercise, maybe some specific weakness.

I do the standing version of this exercise. but I do it in the corner of a room instead. It gives me more flexibility this way
