Hi Lucy, I am childhood asthmatic. From my childhood till now, I struggled daily to leave a normal life. In this journey I also developed some other ailments and got some recovery too. But it's not linear. Some day it's far better than my imagination and some day it's very miserable. Lots of people make fun of me, lots of people thought that I will be not able to survive. Some times I believe them too -. But you know I am not only surviving, I am enjoying this roller coaster life. Yes I feel miserable sometimes, but it doesn't mean I don't feel great about myself next day. This is life and it only makes us feel what we want want from this. Don't worry if you feel bad, that is a phase and it will pass. Just don't stick with it. I wish you a happy journey.

As soon as you said -I had a complete meltdown this morning- it's weird, but I felt better. It's great to be inspired by someone's triumphs, and your journey is certainly one, but hearing you talk about the times when you doubt, when you're unsure, but then you go on anyway, it serves as a reminder.
It reminds me that I've done that before, I can do it again, and it doesn't matter how many times I trip up or backslide with my goals, if I try and do what I can, keep improving, and take care of myself at the same time, that's what matters. I'll eventually get there, and I can't wait to feel that sense of pride, looking back on my progress when I've made myself a stronger person physically and mentally.

Lucy, I hope your injury improves and you feel better. We do what we can when we can. Progress, not perfection, is the goal. I have been training and teaching in my martial arts over the last decade and I am not always healthy or whole. I adjust or modify when I need to. Thankfully my dojo and style encourages anyone to train no matter their abilities. Having that support around you is key to staying healthy. My last belt test was extremely difficult due to my compromised breathing issue, but they took good care of me. I was pushed to challenge myself but within reasonable limits. I wish you well and I hope you continue to find ways to train no matter your condition.

Hey Lucy, all I can say is that we cannot control our pace of healing. We can only pray for it and take care of the things within our control. Please always remember what is in your control and ask yourself if you are making a maximum effort, then thank yourself for making the effort even if it is not the maximum possible and thank God for whatever you are able to do. Resolve to make the maximum effort the next day, and remember to thank yourself and to thank God for whatever it is that you are able to do. I am committed to doing the same.

Totally understand the feelings you have, about 5 years ago I damaged my foot and couldn't even walk to he end of my street without limping and being in pain. I gained stones in weight, making it worse and! and its only know I can actaully even run - im slowly loosing the weight I gained and thanks to your workouts am enjoying it! I actually cried when I went for a run and didn't crumple in pain for the first time. Hang in there, you will get back what you lost.

Hey Lucy, it's totally ok being on a rollercoaster while recovering, I think it's normal, one day you feel positive and the next day you just want to punch the wall out of frustration. It takes time. Please don't be hard on yourself, kindness and patience are your best friends. You are getting everything done at your pace, and that's great, look at what you have accomplished so far! Big hugs and take care

Hey Lucy, totally understand where you're coming from. I herniated my L5-S1 last year, and after months and months of physio it got to the point where I had to have surgery. It's a slow recovery but its all just about taking at your own pace and being patient with yourself (and a BUNCH of core exercises: D. Loving your content and wishing you the speediest of recoveries! :) Take care x

Can you make a video on how to grow glutes with calisthenics? I suppose it should be possible but to a certain extent only. Can we have real big glutes without going to the gym and lifting weights?

You're so inspiring, please don't let your injury define you. You have so many other things to offer in the meantime. Thanks for sharing, sending you blessings. Hang in there, you're doing awesome! -
