2022 so far has been chaotic and to be honest I've spent a lot of time trying to overcome some things that have been weighing me down over the last year - one being a constant feeling of letting people down! I feel like after a lot of self reflection and thinking I am getting a clearer idea of how I can overcome these issues and adapt my business and just in time as I've had the worst psoriasis flare up that I have experienced in a few years! I hope this resonates with someone out there and makes you feel slightly leas alone if you are struggling or dealing with illness or an autoimmune disease - you're not alone! -- Nadine: Hey Lucy, have you thought of teaming up with someone? Maybe you can find a partner with a similar outlook to work with you - help share the load and materialise your ideas! Teamwork makes the dream work. I love your content and sometimes just listen to your videos when Im lonely - feels like having a friend who is into the same things I want to be into

I think and believe that you do a great job, and sometimes we become down about feeling as if were in a rut and stagnating somewhat. That is just being human and thinking way too much about doing more. The danger with that however is then getting further distracted and almost becoming illogical in our approach. I really believe that your original goal of helping the people who needed basic advice, guidance and support through training still should be at the heart of what you do so well. I follow your advice and guidance because you are so honest and realistic about getting healthier and stronger. I get confused and doubtful about achieving anything watching some of the unrealistic videos about what i can do in just weeks. I came down to earth and decided that if I just do the things you talk about and not worry about results alone that it will happen in time. So sorry for going on but what you do is very real and honest. Keep up the good work and im sure you will find a way to achieve what you want.

Lucy, I also burnt out last year big time, i'm not self employed but I am autistic and working in a corporate environment, it was too much and my body just got to the point where it refused to do anything. I thought I had an iron deficiency my energy was so low. I took 2 months off. You cannot work 7 days a week for a long period of time, you are a young person, but when people get to the end of their life their regrets are rarely that they didn't work more, they regret not spending enough time with their loved people and experiencing new things. Please look after yourself, you can help a lot of people but you can't help everyone

Oh Lucy, from one PT to another, I FEEL YOU! So much self doubt, empathy, desire to help, and never feeling like you are doing enough for your clients. Thats the definition of loving your job and wanting the best for everyone! It's the hardest part of the job. At the end of the day there will always, always, be something to do. It doesn't mean that we should or rush it! So well done on acklowledging that you have to life YOUR life too

A lot of people believe auto immune diseases are curable with diet. Complete elimination diets are a good way to see what really makes the difference but it takes a lot of time. Tomatoes are inflammatory for instance, whereas garlic and ginger may help. There's been a big lean towards the carnivore diet to help with psoriasis and arthritis, but for me personally, it's just not a sustainable way of eating.

Lucy, I really feel your pain with struggle to balance everything out. My only solution so far, which I can recommend, is to take one full day off every week. It is so hard at first, to relinquish all the productive things that heart desires. but it brings balance like nothing else I ever tried. It is not one of Ten god's commandments for nothing, and I found it out the hard way. Highly recommended.

Your videos are awesome. I have shared them with multiple people and have shared some of your advice in conversation when talking to others about topics you covered. I imagine other people who watch your videos and possibly even your clients have done the same. You are reaching and helping more people than you realize and you're doing amazing things. :)

Take a different day off each week so your clients miss a couple of days (they can support themselves! )once or twice a month and we will also benefit from you being so relaxed and a short of your fun ( possibly. Fitness as fun is so important. I watch mostly for your lovely smile!

Missed you! -
I imagine you have, given your impressive background, but was wondering: have you looked at increasing your regulatory T cells beyond reducing stress? Like supplementing with glutathione, butyrate, EGCG, etc?
