90 DAY JOURNEY MEAL PLAN: As most of you know, just over a year ago I embarked on a 90 day journey to get into the best shape of my life - mentally and physically. It's now been over a year and I wanted to celebrate my anniversary by sitting down and having some real talk about how I lost the weight and kept it off. Because I developed some healthy, sustainable eating habits during my journey, it made maintenance so much easier. Over the past several months, I worked together with my Registered Dietitian, Breanna Woods, RD to develop the official 90 day Journey Meal Plan for you! There are 4 dietary preferences and the food is SO DELICIOUS! 1. Omnivore 2. Pescatarian 3. Vegetarian 4. Vegan All the meal plans are ADJUSTABLE based on your goals and your activity level! You can get the meal plan

It honestly did make me feel insecure seeing this pop up in my recommended because I have struggled with an eating disorder for over eight years and seeing someone already small drop a lot of weight was triggering. & then hearing that your weight is a metaphor for toxicity? It made me think, so. is my weight because I'm not happy? Should I be smaller? I know that's a ME problems, not you, but that was my thinking.
Also, it's hard to believe that dairy can cause pimples within hours? I've been seeing a nutritionist for the same amount of time (over 8 years) and have never ever heard of acne popping up that fast due to food. I also struggled with bloating after gluten but found out it was because my body wasn't used to ingesting it because of my disordered past. Now gluten gives me no problem. I also got tested for celiac. and I really hope people who stop eating gluten have actually been TESTED. This goes for everyone, not just Casey. Bloating can be due to a lot of other issues aside from gluten.
Anyways, no hate, I love that you're happy and love your videos, Casey! I just wanted to share a bit of what went on in my mind while watching this.
AND the title is focused on weight loss which of course will garner clicks. It seems the whole 90 day journey is, too. I wish the title was something else bc it made me feel like, All anyone cares about is weight loss. That's what people want.

I agree with the flexibility thing. I eat mostly vegan. Just came back from vacation, and you better believe I ate the same as my family! Bbq, seafood, pizza. I know a lot of vegans would be angry about that, but I pick my battles and maybe they should too
I've found that calorie counting, etc, doesn't really work for me. It just makes me obsessive after awhile. I like the handful approach instead. I eat three meals a day, and for lunch and dinner I have one handful-sized portion each of protein, and carbs/fruit. I also have 2 handful-sized portions of veggies. Finally I have 1-3 T fat (for me, usually peanut butter or dark chocolate. Or both) It's been a game changer for me, because I'm actually eating vegetables at lunch! And I'm getting more protein in also, which is important since I'm mostly vegan and I'm pregnant.
If I get hungry between meals, I'll have another T of fat or I'll drink more water to tide me over until mealtime. But I'm almost always satisfied with this layout.

Honestly you're just an inspiration. Plain and simple. You've helped me move away from my fear of losing weight and exercise and move into a place where i really enjoy exercise, i haven't lost any weight yet but you've helped me realized i needed to start if i was going to ever reach my goal of becoming an FBI agent. I have really changed in the past week alone from being fearful of losing weight and exercising to being in a place where I'm excited to lose weight and to be able to actually pass the PFT (physical fitness test, its the test you have to take to be an agent, it has situps and pushups and running and sprinting and maybe pullups? . Anywaysssss its awesome to see positive and truthful fitness, and its relieving and so awesome. Like I'm ACTUALLY working to better myself mentally and physically. So THANK YOU! I am finally doing it and it hurts but it feels good! You're awesome!

girl i watch you on off for 10+ years and you are always losing weight. and that's one thing but you've always been so defensive of people calling you out on it. and then you made this body positivity video and completely missed the mark and jumped in with those other fitness losers who bully fat people for a living. people don't attack (criticize) you because you are skinny or wanna improve yourself but because you are stuck in this unhealthy cycle which you don't even seem to realize you are in. a lot of people have been there and want you to wake you up so their criticism might come off as harsh or arrogant but they themselves have been like you, not listening to others and not wanting to wake up and break the cycle. so it's frustrating for them to be reminded of their past mistakes through you. health is about balance. you have issues, face them.

Holy, I'm super glad you made this video! I was following you until like 1 or 2 years ago, because I really wanted to get in shape and you are super cute and positive and were teaching me how to do it. Then I stopped working out as a whole, because I was concentrating on something else, which was important in my life. And I saw you like 15 minutes ago on Tik Tok and I was shocked by how much different you look compared to before, so I switched to this video to see what's up. And ooooh my god, you're always so gorgeous! ;; Cannot believe the backlash ugh. And you have always done your best to help people with your knowledge. And I'm super happy for you that you achieved your goal! I don't know why I write so much, just wanted to say that. Peace out

I think the backlash may have something to do with the illness our culture has today. We consume a lot of food nowadays and more then the everage of people are overweight in our society nowadays. Even if it's just slightly. And perhaps it's weird then, to see one woman doing this journey of self discovery and self love and thereby losing weight, perhaps because it's simply actually more NATUREL to eat less, to eat mindful, to listen to your body. I think Cassey has been doing a wonderful thing for herself and thereby also unconsciously for the world, because that's how love seems to work. Not as a comparison, but as an togetherness.

What a wonderful motivation! I love the idea of a 90 Day Journey! I think that a lot of woman feel like you do. If you are HATING on her than I think that you must be feeling very insecure in your own life and therefore having to make someone elses life miserable. Any person who is that critical about someone that they dont know needs to self-direct that to themselves and see how they feel after saying those same things inward. I think that you putting yourself out there should be praised! Very few people can open themselves up to criticism by others and still continue to do so despite the hate. Go You!

Cassey is a great role model. She doesn't tell girls to starve themselves. She's not showing crazy or unhealthy diets. She has a right to lose weight if that's what makes her happy. After all, it's her body. If she wants to document it, she can. People should stop judging her. She is providing information and workouts for free! Plus she looks amazing no matter what. And if losing a couple of pounds and changing her routine made her happy and confident, then so what? You go girl! We should support females whether they're trying to lose weight or gain weight or have abs or whatever.

I don't know about other's reason for backlash, I know about mine. though backlash is a lot. to me simply seemed unhealthy and a bit fake. Because she has opened up before about issues with her body image and unhealthy eating and stating that she was happy and strong in her body. And then bam, I lost 20 pounds and now I am doing great. She was also very positive about the change during the body competition, only to came back a couple of months later and say that it was actually horrible and took her a long time to get back to eating ok and feel ok in her new body.

Peopl are so rude, mean and annoying in general! I learned that growing up. No matter what. even not knowing you, will be mean!
Ill love to give this a try and sounds amazing! Just what I have been searching for years and going for it and all in for the health and weight loss. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge. (This is irreverent but what pens did you use for your journal? Im big on pens and want to use the right kind) thank you tons! Stay safe and ignore the negativity. it will always be out there in this crazy nutty world.
