The comprehensive inclusion of hidden gems within our nation in the content is commendable; however, I harbor concerns that the narrator's inaccurate pronunciation of place names might potentially sow confusion among those unfamiliar with the Korean language. For instance, the Geo in Geoje Island is not pronounced with the soft 'g' sound as in 'George', but with the hard 'g' sound as in 'green'. There are also several vowel sounds that are significantly different from the actual pronunciation. Naturally, I fully comprehend that these errors might occur when attempting to transcribe Korean into the English alphabet. Yet, I can't help but worry that these inaccuracies could potentially create unnecessary difficulties for individuals, a situation that could have been avoided had more thorough research been conducted.

I did an exchange semester in South Korea last year, from late winter to early summer. I lived in the country for 5 months, mostly in Seoul - but also visited Yeosu, Gyeongju, Busan, Jeju Island - among other places. Hands down the best time of my life, I'd go back in time without giving it a second thought if I had the chance. Not just the pretty architecture and landscapes are nice, but also the food, the public transport system, the people (if you are polite and try to speak a bit of Korean, its many ways of making things convenient, its culture and history, I could go on. If you would like to see East Asia, I HIGHLY recommend Seoul and South Korea as a whole.

thank you. I've recently become interested in South Korea. I like the architecture. It looks beautiful. South Korea has beautiful landscapes and beaches. The city's look beautiful and futuristic. K-pop is very popular now. The culture seems very vibrant fun and exciting. I want to learn about the history and culture and try the food.
The islands and beaches look really beautiful. The mountains and Greenery look beautiful. I find the culture really interesting. I like the old historic temples and buildings

The proud people of South korea. I recommend you guys don't move to the state of California, Portland Oregon, New York New York or Chicago Illinois and Detroit Michigan. There are very high crimes of assaults and robbery that are happening there. Also homelessness and many retail stores are closing! Because of the cost of thievery! Move to the two Carolina states and the two Dakota states. An also the states Texas, Idaho and Maryland very peaceful places. Have a great fabulous wonderful day.

Korea has a very long history. It would be much more fun to travel to any country knowing the history of the region.
And Korea is a country with four distinct seasons. The atmosphere is definitely different depending on when you go. I personally recommend April-June and September-November. Pretty flowers and plants spread out on every warm road and trail. It is very hot in summer from July to August, snow from December to February, and very cold.

4: 27 This place is called the Hill of Wind. The view of the sea from going up near that windmill is very beautiful. In addition to beautiful scenery, there are many remnants of Japanese aggression and the Korean War in Geoje Island. In addition to seeing the beautiful scenery, you can see the painful history. So, when you come to Korea, be sure to visit Geoje Island. There may be errors due to the use of translators.

Tongyeong is the most beautiful city in south korea which is located near geoje or busan. better than yeosu. you will see the most beautiful sea view on the top of the mireuk mountain. take the cablecar!
also seorak mountain in sokcho city is the most beautiful mountain which has the most beautiful sea view and beautiful rocks.

when people travel to Korea or Japan from europe or the states, i always recommend them to travel to Korea AND Japan. flight ticket betwee Korea and Japan isn't so expensive and it's kind of a waste to travel that far for 1 country only.

Though I'm a 64 year old Korean man, I learned a lot about my country Korea from your video, Korea is a very tiny country but there are lots of things that l didn't know until now, Thank you for your nice video.

I am proud of Korea. More than you see here. The convenience and safety of everyday life are the best on the planet. But the downside of rapid growth is that competition is fierce every day. mental exhaustion

Honestly from a tourist perspective I personally find Korea rather boring, landscapes are nothing compared to what other countries have to offer. Mainly I recommend the culture and city life.
reply

i recommend to travel to Japan instead of south korea. Japan is much more beautiful and have a lot to offer. Japan is cheaper and more tourist friendly. Soith korea is more racist country

You missed a few places, especially Jeju. But I did enjoy the creative pronunciation. Although definitely not a top 10 destination, I love my city of Daegu.

I wanna to go but Im worried if they wont know English due to me not being able to know Korean, does anyone know if they speak (understand) English?
reply

I'm wondering why jeju was left out and the other three cities as well I was hoping to see those countries or cities when i travel there

Many of Korea's famous places are missing, but it's a pity that Suncheon, Gangneung, Cheongju, and Jeju Island are missing among them.

I'll be there in April. Hopefully, to see the cherry blossoms, but also to celebrate our 47th anniversary. We'll be all over.

Traveling to Korea is boring
And the air is also extremely dirty
If traveling in Asia, Japan is by far the best
