From a Madeirense I just can say WOW, you have showed some of the best places about our island, the true pearl of Atlantic. For some reason we won 6 years in a row for the best island destiny in Europe, but next time dont forget to show our hidden treasures because we have a lot, starting in our Wine, our rum and foods we have a lot more places to discover guys, so come visit us, you wont regret

Had to laugh at the beginning when you said u need a powerful car. If only I had known that in 2019 when me and my sister got stuck with our Fiat 500 on a steep road when we had to stop at an intersection. Or driving up the so called Rua difficulta which I could only drive up in 1st gear and that was very scary coz I felt like the motor would blow up any second

I'm booked to go to Madeira in April of this year. Thank you for a great video that helped me plan for hikes and things to see and do while I'm there. The Levada das 25 fontes 10KM hike (loop) in order to complete the loop do you have to walk through the tunnel or can it be completed without going through the tunnel?

I love it! I'm going there next week and planning to make a similar video about the island. You were there in April, and I will be there in December; I wonder how different it will be. For now, still creating my dairy from the US trip, but Madeira will be the first video(s) after that.

Hi Allan, Stumbled upon your video in my planning for my upcoming Madeira trip! I was curious what times of day did you visit the Fanal forest to see it with the fog. I really want to see it when it is foggy but I know it's it or miss.

Have visited Madeira 3 times and it really is the Jewell of the Atlantic. Will definitely revisit as still many great hikes to do. Great vlog as always Allan, but cant believe you didnt do the return hike on the PR1 hike. now thats lazy
