I travelled (almost) all countries in Europe and was born in Amsterdam, Live now in Belgium and and I would like to make a shout out to the Baltics! I am travelling to Tallinn tomorrow! Estonia has the best preserved historical sites and the best food! And is sooooo underrated! In Estonia it is also very worth while to visit the Lahemaa swamp national park if you like unspoilt nature.
In Lithuania there is Kryziu Kalnas, a hill of crucifixes as a silent protest to the Russian period of ruling. Latvia has its beautiful capital with the art deco- art nouveau neighborhood. And the food market in the old Zeppelin hangars! Slovenia I confirm is a jewel to visit and nowhere else you can drive from a snowy mountain range to a sunburnt beach in less than a day. Ljubljana has a vibrant heart with excellent bars and restaurants and so much to explore! A mix of Austria, Croatia and Italy with their own Slovenian spices: -)
Switzerland is breathtakingly beautiful but the standards are high and pricy! And then there is Belgium: If you love food and drinks you can not forget Antwerpen or in English Antwerp or in French Anvers or in Spanish Amberes: -) There is beer, chocolates, fresh fries, black mussels, shrimp croquettes, delicious stews and quirky historic alleys, a monumental train station, a majestic river, owwww almost forgot the diamond cutting and polishing center of the world and 2nd biggest harbour in Europe and a great biking destination and there is Bruges, Brussels and Ghent each with their own flavor.

Hey Lexie!
Love to see you enjoying Germany!
But i would recommend you to visit other parts of Germany too. The country has so much different regions, Bavaria isnt representative for any of them.
And some regions, not to say every other ones, are pretty tired of other countries referring to bavaria as the representative part of germany. Its such a different culture in every part of Germany (and such different styles of beer and bread and other distinct forms of german food as well.
I would suggest you to travel across the the coast of the northern sea and the baltic sea, maybe from west to east. With Hamburg in the middle and Berlin in the east you have to biggest cities as well; )
Or visit Saxony, the german part of Bohemia with its beautiful, but yet so different cities compared to southern germany.
The region of Cologne, or the middle part of Germany around Hannover are super beautiful as well. Or the western part of southern germany. so much to discover in such a small country!
I hope these are some suggestions you may consider in the future, when you come back to Germany!
Greetings from beautiful Dresden, Sebastian

Great spots. As for working on your pronunciation and such:
- _kilometre_ is pronounced just like -nanometre- or -metre-, not like -thermometer- (because it's a unit of measurement, not a measuring device)
- _route_ is pronounced like -boutique-, -mousse-, or even -you-
- _unique_ means one of a kind, so there's no such thing as -so unique- or -very unique- in the same way someone can't be -so dead- and -very dead-.
- The -e- in _Slovenia_ is pronounced like the name of the letter: -Slo-vee-ni-ah-, not -Slo-veh-ni-ah-.
- -$60 USD- would be read as -60 dollars US dollars-. It should either be -US$60- or -USD 60-.

I'm not sure suggesting to go to Iceland out of season is the best idea. Prices would probably be lower, but the winter is really harsh and many places may not be accessible because of snow. And you'll get 20-hour nights.

I wonder how most people cover the expenses for their wanderlust, I know a couple of people are just gonna bottle up their desire for travel adventure because they can't afford to.
