the fast trains in china (D and G trains) are very similar to the fast trains in Germany and France. The only big difference I see are the sections. Europe has 1st and 2nd class. China has 1st, 2nd and business. Business being the nicest ones with super great seats. 1st class in china is 2 seats next to each other on each side of the aisle. the 2nd class is where it is different, in china a lot of the fast trains have 3 seats on one side and 2 seats on the other side. so 5 people in a row not 4

Simple
Plan to be there for one day taking bullet train from Beijing and back.
We will probably take taxi as tour is like 350+ per person during Aug.
Any easy itinerary you can recommend from Tianjin Rail Station?
Surely we will visit the ancient culture street, and other places.

but if you look at slow trains or reginal trains there are bigger differences. but we stuck to the fast high speed trains, they were well worth taking and actually better than flying as there were no delays on the trains.

I loved the way you made this short video. It's human, it's natural and mixed with your family it brings this like family holiday invitation in Tianjin. The concept is quite original. Congratulations.

Very nice, but the first syllable of Tianjin rhymes with yen. Tian means heaven or heavenly, as in Tian'anmen = gate of heavenly peace.
