How come you didn't show one picture of the pretty baby blue water. Your one picture you showed, showed no justice. Party in the Hard Rock pool and enjoy their swim up bar. Its a blast. Also go snorkeling at that place that's 90 mins away from Cancun. Its also super fun. And wear the fins that they give you, you will need them. And lastly. Go to the Sun Palace for their outside dinner on the beach and eat the RIBEYE. Its the best RIBEYES in the world. I can't find those RIBEYES anywhere in the states.

Yes the sunblock didn't work very well and it's expensive. I can use coupons here in Minnesota. Ha ha.
I also was asked by the guy that booked our snorkel Isla mujers excursion to use organic, non-toxic, for the health of the sealife. We applied three times on the boat and burned! The next two days were not fun.
Always love your videos, and thanks fur the tips you sent me on your tweet for Our Germany honey moon. It was wonderful. 2 half happy years now!

If you take a bus tour to Chichen-itza, expect to be held almost literally hostage. Buy our stuff, blah, blah, blah. Do NOT rent a car. We got pulled over for a light check. When we turned on the high beams, we were ticketed for using high beams in the daytime. after he told us to turn them on. Get it? Take a taxi. Fantastic vacation, just be aware.

Hate is do not do anything Yucatan! Do NOT do any tours to Yucatan you will lose your whole day! 12+ hours for a lame trip It is horrible! Why pay so much for a flight to be somewhere so terrible and horrible its better to see the statues online. if your traveling stay near the beaches and sea! Or shops! Do not bother with Yucatan!

As always Mark offers some very insightful travel info. The man is always a traveler and never a tourist. I must reiterate Mark's thought that Cancun is not genuinely Mexico. It was built be a fun in the sun vacation destination. The Pacific side of Mexico is where you get Mexican culture, Have fun always.

I am headed to Cancun in 5 days, bringing my girlfriend. She has never been, I was there 9 years ago for a wedding. This time we are hitting a cenote and swimming with sea turtles. I love your videos and you have a beautiful family! I just need to buy my gopro camera and I am ready to rock!

Take a tour with other non-Mexicans from an inclusive hotel to get to know the Mexican culture? Get on a damn bus and go hang out in downtown Mexico. Go to Market 23, very easy to get to. Stay at an Airbnb, save hundreds of dollars and experience genuine Mexican hospitality.

Cancun is now very dangerous as the drug cartels have taken over. Kidnappings and drug violence
are common. Renting a car and traveling away from the city can be dangerous. I used to live there
for many years. It is not what it used to be. Cozumel is much safer.

The cenotes are not in Cancun. They're in Yucatan which is a couple of hours away from Cancun. I'm not Mexican but I own a Time share in Cancun and know the city pretty well. Is like saying that the best thing of Las Vegas is the Grand Canyon.

Be careful about using credit cards without asking for the exchange rate at the place where you buy something. We got burned by a restaurant that charged us much more than other shops and restaurants.
