Visiting Cancun, Mexico is an amazing place to go, there are so many things to do and see, but here we will go over the things you DON'T do when you are vacationing in Cancun

I keep seeing those old Aztec temple ruins in this travel and leisure advertisement, still standing.
I wonder if those people innocently and nonchalantly milling about know of the history and significance of them; how thousands of poor victims were once horribly massacred daily, their hearts savagely torn out while still beating, by pagan priests to help satisfy the demonic blood lust of their sun god! Afterwards, their bloody heads were unceremoniously thrown down like garbage, from the top of the steps!
This barbaric, sickening and grisly practice went on until a divinely inspired Cortez arrived in the country and quite conscionably and properly put a stop to it!

Visiting Cancun is NOT PLAIN, SIMPLE, NOR EASY! One MUST take care and pause to evaluate all you do for this place doesn't exist for your common good; it is there to suck you dry ( financial SPEAKING) and it will be DONE if you're woefully IGNORANT of this place. The smiling faces are there to get you to relax to better get in your wallet! See all possibilities at all times suspiciously, and be DEFINITELY DEFENSIVE IN A POLITE WAY AND MANNER.

Oh my god thankyou! Ive been traveling to Mexico for years, and I actually live here in Cancun now, and Im so happy that you had ideas that I agree with and 100% also can confirm all of these are accurate. Sometimes some of the tips Ive seen are borderline not okay in terms of comments about safety, and tipping, and communicating with the locals here. Thankyou for sharing important info about my beautiful home!

I mean this with the greatest respect. Any American they see, they rip you off. I have friends in cancun and they've admitted what they do. English people they don't mind as they are polite and use pesos, BRING PESOS & don't expect everyone to cater for dollar's

I try to tip those who rarely got one, like the gardeners, the cooks, the usually with the lower wages. The problem with tips is they get used to it, then no tip = no service. Tipping intelligently is an art needing practice. Hasta la vista,

Great video, thanks! But PLEASE dont recommend people to swim with the dolphins! Its a horrible industry that is ruining them. Are there any boats that will take people out looking for dolphins in their natural habitat?

HEs right! When you try to leave the airport, theyll ask where youre going and you say joeblow resort and theyll say yep, hope in, we're going there. And its a scam. verify who and what your ride will be waiting for you.

My wife and I regularly go to Mazatlan, and The El Cid hotels that we visit, the water if filtered/purified. Not all hotels do that, and its always still a possibility to get sick, even on the hotel property.

Reminder that negotiating doesn't mean taking advantage of people that earn $20 a day. I've seen too many tourists haggle market vendors down to cents while staying at 5 star hotels. Why? Don't be a-holes.
