The pickles remind me of a recipe in my family that's been passed down from my great-great grandmother. They were called Ice Box Pickles and it was made with sliced cucumber, onion, apple cider vinegar, vinegar, salt, sugar, it's all combined in a big glass bowl and left in the fridge for at least 24 hours before they're ready. My grandmother would can batches of this and we always enjoyed it as a side at summer picnics and family BBQs. Since the amount of time the cucumbers are pickling is so short, it was always a lighter taste than actual pickles.

My friend and I went to Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando the same day you were at Epcot, and honestly, I can see why you guys left early. We bundled up and wore hats, and by the close of park we were ready to head back to our warm hotel room. That weather is pretty standard for the UK in spring, so I think we had a pretty authentic experience. Glad you both made it home safely!

The food certainly looks delicious! I'm sure you're right about it not comparing to 4Rivers, though (my absolute favorite place! 4Rivers is THE best! We only live 10 minutes away from the Longwood location. I'm assuming you went to EPCOT last Friday the 21st, because yes the weather was nasty cold! It's crazy the way our weather is in the winter months - 80's one day, 50's the next.

I'm really excited to see something on the menu made with Jackfruit. I came across Jackfruit while traveling and always thought it was such a cool fruit (It's what Juicy Fruit gum was created to imitate the taste of. Pretty awesome. Although I'm not a vegetarian, I like to eat mostly vegetables and just a little meat, so this is right up my alley.

We went to Regal Eagle February 25. For a quick service BBQ/SMOKEHOUSE it wasnt as bad as one would think. The ribs were a bit dry the pulled pork was good. The Mac and cheese wasnt all that by any means. To be honest save your money and head over to 9 Dragons we went there for lunch and it was soooo much better and CHEAPER

I used to work there when it was Liberty Inn. Yes it can be very loud in there it echoes! I grabbed trays and one slipped and I tried to balance so it wouldn't crash. Unfortunately all the trays crashed the noise was so loud due to the echo. Rather embarrassing but funny. The remodel is goregous!

Oh snap. Going to Disney in June. If 20 was quick service now I wonder on all the sit downs I booked. Also the construction going on. I hope done by then. Little sad if that is the case for my first time

We were down from Canada, at Universal, on that cold day. We thought we were tough but actually had to go back to the hotel for warmer clothes! It was the same temp as it was back home that day!

I was there for the race weekend, it was as cold as being home in the UK, hopefully Ill try Regal Eagle when Im back for Star Wars race weekend
