I visited Bangkok a few years ago and stayed with relatives who retired from California. They explained that a hot water heater is rare in Thailand and usually the water tank sits out in the back and sunlight warms the water. Because it-s sooo hot, most people only take warm showers. Surprised you didn-t mention this. BTW, my relatives did have a hot water heater in their master bedroom for hot showers at night and one in the kitchen for washing dishes. They also took us to various markets throughout Bangkok from wet markets, to large modern supermarkets like in the US and even gourmet shops where we bought a lot of fresh sushi during our stay. Hope you-ll do a video on markets one day.

Mark is humble, always smiling.
Despite his impressive earnings, Mark is down to earth, not lavish, not showy and not flashy at all. He and his family live simply. He lives with Ying (his wife, son, parents-in-law and sister-in-law in a big, spacious mansion in Bangkok.
Besides viewing his food reviews, I enjoy his accommodation / apartment reviews and airline food reviews too.
He is so positive, he is able to turn a basic and simple accommodation at $25 per night in Cambodia, to one that is exciting, archaic and a treasure. Hats off to him la!

A lot of people have posted to the comment about Mark-s taking care of his in-laws already.
As I remember following his clipsfrom the beginning, it seemed like he married into the family meaning he moved in to live with his wife-s parents- house which looked like a townhome. This house in this video looks like a different one

Thank you for a tour of your castle. Nice place, very clean, and the prices are AWESOME! The Bedroom that is used for storage, you could put all of the shirts, hats and clothing into it and make that much more room for your blogging equipment and accessories. Congratulations! hey mark, you got a huge house, great and beautiful. the price rental is good enough for the size and house feature and style. here in the philippines that will cost you around 50k to 60k pesos or baht. good luck to your future vlogs, i always watched your food travel around the world.

The two tanks in the kitchen look very scary to me. The entrance hall is great. I can-t stand the practice of many Asians that they walk barefoot inside their home. How can you be sure the floors of the home are all clean? I have never walked barefoot inside my home.
