The Venice Simplon Orient Express in a Grand Suite, all the way to Venice, passing through three countries. This is not only the world-s most iconic, but arguably the most luxurious sleeper train. I have the grand suite today, which features an ensuite bathroom with shower, living space, dining table and double bed. There are three restaurants onboard and even a lounge car with baby grand piano. It-s like the very best 5- hotel on the rails. Belmond runs all kinds of trains, but this one has been on my list for a long time. I feel incredibly fortunate I was able to get an upgrade to a suite which I-d never in a million years get the chance to travel in with cash. So how did I book this? As discussed in the video, I used my friend Jarvis- luxury travel agency: to book this trip. He assisted no end in arranging all the finer details of the trip and in getting the my space available upgrade to the Grand Suite syno: We could have spent a fraction on what we as Americans spent on the interstate systems and been able to travel comfortably and quickly via train. Across the country from hub to hub. It didn't have to be luxurious. But it could have been comfortable and pleasant and much more environmentally friendly.

These videos really make me wanna grab my bestfriend and hop on a plane with her and travel the world, first place would be Ireland since both our families come from there. Thank you for letting me see the world through your videos until I'm able to travel myself.

Your videos are becoming a Sunday night staple for us -. To be honest I could have watched another 15 mins or more of the Orient Express, great video, keep up the good work. Tims, Nasa and Caviar. Hope you start getting sponsored by at least one of those.

Thanks for the video. -trektrendy. Any chance you can start including a height comparison in rooms, hallways and stairways for us taller travellers? Eg. -I am 5 foot 9 and my head is almost touching the ceiling. - Thanks from Down Under.

Happy surprize! I thought they stopped that service. I'm also happy for you.
I once critized you for some crappy Amtrak ride and am very, very glad that you're able to experience what great trains are.

Special thanks to Millie for helping me film this one. We'll both be back on the rails in a couple of weeks on another luxury Belmond train. The British Pullman

Awesome experience, as it should be at -1000 an hour. How are you ever going to enjoy another flight or train journey again?
