Travel back in time with us and our 6 month old daughter on our trip to Cuba! We traveled for a total of 9 incredible days in which we made it to the busy city of Havana, the vibrant and quaint Trinidad, and the lush hills and caves of Vi-ales. We had a lot of questions ourselves before going there and are happy to answer your comments below. To expand on some of the things we mentioned in our video: The reason we try to take overnight flights when traveling with our baby is so she can (hopefully) sleep the entire time, just as she would at home. It is a much more relaxing experience for everyone involved (including fellow plane passengers) if your sweet baby is sleeping during the flight. We also think it's so much fun to wake up in a completely new place! Tara always wears Liv in baby carriers wherever we go. Traveling can be quite confusing and overwhelming for little ones, with all of the new sights, smells, sounds, different languages, etc. To help reassure Liv and give her a safe spot Tara wears her to keep her close (it's also a perfect place for impromptu naps as you see in the video. Through airports she uses a Lillebaby carrier because it doesn't have any metal pieces so she can wear Liv right through security (which is especially wonderful if Liv has already fallen asleep. The specific Lillebaby she uses in this video is the Airflow model which is amazing for warm weather (such as Cuba) when you're wearing a little hot potato on your chest/back. Once we're out of the airport she likes to use Wildbird ring slings since they are so fast and easy to use, and stylish too! If you have any additional questions please feel free to ask below and we'd be happy to share more!

Hi! I just came across your video! I was doing some research on Cuba and infants hahaha I'm going to Cuba next week with my husband and 5 and a half month old son. We went to varadero and Havana 3 times before but this time it's going to be with a baby! We are so nervous, any tips? And do we necessarily need a stroller? Would it be helpful? We are going to varadero Cuba in a resort but we are definitely going to take a day trip to Havana. Please comment down some tips and tricks: ) we are nervous! Haha and any clothing tips for the baby as well!

Awesome Sauce! We are planning to go soon as well. March/April? We also have a LO, and will also be our first family trip. Still try working on the logistics. Did you stay at multiple locations? or just Havana and tour?
