I'm going to admit it up front. I need to return and watch the whole video. But I like your video's regardless, and hope you will keep making them. To the point, I have been in extreme turbulence, quite a number of times. I won't bore everyone with details here, but suffice it to say the airport was closed after one of our landings. I also flew through extreme turbulence, but that was over lava beds in about 110 degree (F) heat. And it would shoot me up to 10K feet in minutes. Great for gas savings, not so good on the stomach. Cell phones on a plane? Sometime ago they were a bit of a problem, but not with navigation, nor with radios. It has always been because they distract passengers from messages passed on by the crew (intercom or otherwise) and they remain so today, hence the continued advice to turn them off. Meanwhile I hope to see more of your video's, they are very entertaining, educational, and enjoyable. I give it a 3E.

With the couple of comments about Wollongong in the previous videos, I was wondering if Paul wouldn't be making an appearance at some point!
I grew up an air force brat and had to fly military transports between stations sometimes back in the 70s. I'm pretty sure those pilots flew under different rules than commercial pilots. I don't have much fear of anything while flying commercial but it's funny when you run across someone experiencing some aspect of flight they've not had before. Turbulence, banking turns after take-off, just flying in general. I think that's the most fun part. Especially if there's a little drop mid-air and getting to see someone's face during it. :)

Hey guys! Excellent video I love the behind the scene talk- it's very relaxing and informational. I remember when I worked for New York Air and I was flying non-rev back to Dulles on a horribly windy day when we landed hot and fast, the dc9 made a slam down on the runway, I thought we had caught the tree tops on the approach and I yelled out Holy sh$$! I was so scared. As I deplaned I asked the pilot what had happened did we blow a tire? He said No Sir I had to Prang her Down! So no, I don't like turbulance!

Very interesting section on fear of flying, Paul describes how he got over it, effectively by flying a lot! I had the same experience going from being an abject pile of jelly sitting terrified in my seat I became very comfortable and blase about the whole thing, joining an oil company in Brunei helped and flying between Brunei to San Francisco frequently cured the condition, thereafter the fear pretty much went away! Although I can't honestly say I have ever got to the level of 'enjoying' turbulence!

When I think of how traumatic modern aviation can be, especially at airports and even pre-plague let alone now, I think Paul could not have a qualification more appropriate for his chosen mode of entertainment.
Israelis do National Service, so they are mostly very physically fit. Even the chefs tend to look like fitness trainers.
Thank you for the video. Epic entertainment, as always.

As someone who has worked on wing materials, design & testing for over 30 years, I'm perfectly comfortable with the idea of turbulence. If is starts to get a bit bouncy I finish my drink, close my eyes and picture myself on a crazed drive on country roads - then if it gets more intense on a roller coaster. But make sure you strap in.

2019 was my 1st time flying over seas and also booking my own flight. I wasn't scared per say. But I was worried if I was going to make a mistake or miss a flight.
The one thing I did learn about flying was this. When flying over seas and such. Give yourself at least 2 hrs at your layovers.

Wonderful video. Mr Bunnik who likes it nice and smooth and Mr Brooks who likes it a bit rough, with Mr Stoo Art in the background donning his doctors coat and making a mental health assessment of them both. Great stuff. Keep it up boys. Oh boy Im at it now. One of your best, made me laugh.

I'd wear the t-shirt, great idea! I threw my arms up in the air and woopped like I was on roller coaster on one flight. Couldn't help myself. The lady sitting beside me didn't think it was funny. She was turning green. This is my first comment ever. You three cracked me up.

My 3 favorite aviation guys that I have been following. What a treat thank you for pulling together. Retired airforce myself, so made my day. Please keep them coming. So envious if you all, who got to fly so much. Difficult times but confident all will be sorted soon.

I almost prefer a small degree of turbulence when flying because it makes it more similar to driving on the road. When a plane is near perfectly still and then you suddenly get turbulence, it can be a little unnerving even for frequent fliers

Yes sunburn is a problem for us at the pointy end the reason being that there is a lot less atmosphere to filter out the UV.
Paul I'll get around to emailing you on the rules relating the use of mobiles on Australian registered aircraft.

As a photographer back in the 90s, I did a recruitment brochure for the FAA and the SkyMarshalls. Flew to DFW and spent a couple days hanging out with these guys. There's a firing range in the basement somewhere in the airport.

Paul and Jeb should fly a CRJ200 into Denver over the rocky mountains and he may have a different opinion of turbulence.
Glad that they added Paul to the show as he is entertaining.

I spent 20 years in the US Navy, most of it in destroyers. After being at sea in a smaller ship such as a destroyer or a frigate, you won't even notice turbulence on an airliner.

I am glad I don't live in Australia at this time. The government has used this virus to get more power than it should have. Ask Rebel News Journalist Avi Yemini about this.

Dont telephone signals cause radio interference inside the cockpit? Having the phone signal on could distract the pilots talking between the radio towers.

I have panic and anxiety disorder, due to a head injury as a kid. It was 1979 the last time I flew anywhere. I'm really afraid to fly now.

When safe, all three of you should do the same flight at the same time, each make a trip report video and let the viewers do the rating!
