Great video as always, Jeb & Suzanne. I was very fortunate to get SQ24 in business class from SIN to JFK on a steal of a point redemption deal last October. To make it even better I was able to switch to bulkhead seat 19A at check in. Row 19 does not have that awkward footwell restriction making it by far the roomiest location on the aircraft. They are bassinet seats and are therefore blocked from pre-booking until check-in. I recommend checking in early to try to get this row. That said, there is always a risk that there will be an infant in a bassinet nearby so remember to pack your earplugs.

I was flying Emirates, Qatar, Lufthansa, SWISS and Co, but I have to say for me SIA is the BEST airline in world. Their aircraft always look brand new, very very well maintained, in perfect shape and their flight crew is always. and I mean always, near to perfection! what a great review, good flight and always save landings Sir! greetings from Vienna, Austria: -)

Does the experience in terms of service differ depending if your fly east or west.
Presumably. Going over Europe. You fly over the day quick so it’s dark again night>day>night>sunrise. But flying west, it’s a very long night until the sun slowly catches up and it’s more 50/50 night > day flying
Does the change the onboard meals / sleeping patterns

Great video! Singapore is definitely on my and my dads bucket list. Are you guys considering trying out the new United route from Newark to Marrakech coming this fall The city is wonderful (was there for a wedding last year) and the fact that it’ll be the first US carrier is cool too.

When I spotted from the TWA hotel back in July 2022, I caught this the same flight coming into terminal 4. If I was to ever do this same route, I would love to do the same thing as y’all by spending the night they are before the flight to SIN.

Given the choice, I'd probably pick the flight out of Newark if I was in Business if nothing else for the better lounge experience. Comparing the Polaris lounge to whatever they're doing in JFK is not even a real comparison

I think for a flight like this 1st class and to have that bed, is the only way; you need to stretch out. What a privilege to fly that way. Jeb, you never seem to lose your sense of adventure and fun when you fly.

You know, I took this first back in 2006 - it's always a great flight. but last time to Singapore I took Cathay from JFK-HKG then a direct to SIN. it took one hour more and gave me a chance to strech my legs.

03: 12 Today(16 March 2024 included) 780 days(i. e. 2 years, 1 month, 19 days) have gone by after Tata Group's takeover of Air India. Sad that the ground reality seems to be the same old (or even worse.

Just imagine 18hrs in economy class. At least you guys were in business class so you could stretch your legs, have more space and could eat more food than the tiny meals they serve in economy class.

Another great video. Although I’d love to go to Singapore I couldn’t fly. So grateful you’re out there for me to experience. Where in MD are you from, Suzanne I went to high school in Frostburg.

Love the quick service. I flew Polaris from Dulles to Brussels last year and it was a great experience, but they didn't conclude service until maybe three hours left on a barely seven-hour flight.

I’ve done the back cabin four timesactually the six single PE seats are probably better value given the weird angle and leg cubby hole for legs in the flat bed position on the J seats.

I wonder how long a lay-over the crew get to recover from such a long flight. Two days
My longest trip in planning is between London and Sydney. I have NO desire to do it non-stop.

Way to go Jeb and between SQ23/24 EWR SQ21/22 which one would you pick between the two flights PR127/126 For me it's SQ21/23 to SIN where I'll get a better service than PR126/127
