I'm glad to see they fixed the food. I stayed at Explora Torres del Paine in January 2024 and they neglected to tell us before arriving that they were in the process of trying to find a new chef. Some of the dishes were genuinely inedible, and just about everything was frozen, canned, or a suspicious paste. For $3, 000 a night, it was incredibly disappointing. Oh, and they forgot to book our airport transfer, so we nearly missed our flight and had to squeeze into the van meant for the next flight. Explora Atacama was top-notch though.

We made a similar trip 15 years ago. One of my favorites. If my memory is correct, the last word of park name is supposed to be pronounced with 2 syllables - something like Pan-yee. The lakes have that turquoise color as the water is melt from the glaciers and thus have some higher mineral content. For our trip, it just took 2 flights - west coast U. S. to Santiago; Santiago to Punta Arenas.

I really enjoyed the format of this video. I've been watching a lot of Pategonia travel videos lately, and of course I watch all of Jeb's flight videos. This new style is a great combination that finally answered the flight itinerary question for me. I had always been confused about the combination of airports and ground transportation required to get to Torres del Paine.

Hi Jen, welcome to my home continent, except I’m from the other side of the Andes, but we are like brothers. I would like to recommend you though to go to Argentina (my home country) one day. It is one of the most beautiful countries in the world to visit. Everyone that goes will tell you that it is amazing. I think you will love it there!

It cracks me up that I just finished watching some several days of backpacking in Patagonia at the base of Mt. Fitz Roy videos and now get to watch possibly the most completely opposite video experience that one could imagine

Great video! Very nostalgia-inducing, I was lucky enough to be in northern Patagonia in October too. I implore you to visit the Explora lodge in Chacabuco Valley should you return to Chile - it's everything you loved about TDP but you'll be the only people you see all day on your hikes. Possibly the best trip I've done or will ever do.

We look forward to Saturday! Loved seeing all that you did. Loved seeing the beautiful mountains and scenery. And as always, loved seeing the accommodations and food. I would love to see you both visit the Scottish Highlands! There’s a little restaurant/pub called the Larroch Inn in Ballachulish. You would love their food!

This is exactly what I was hoping to see more of and mentioned when you asked for the feedback. Fantastic new format, very much looking forward to more. What an absolutely stunning part of the world - I audibly gasped several times at the beauty on screen but feel like it can't do it justice.

Yeah, this kind of video is cool. It is an outside the mean of transportation viewpoint.

Yes yes yes to more of these type of videos. I really like see the connections (flights and such to get from one point to another point. My favorite videos are more grounded and cruise (especially the more less thought of/different places travelled via cruises.

Great video! I enjoyed seeing the entire experience, not just the transporation portion. At least for me, I am not going to be traveling to Patagonia any time in the near future so this was a wonderful way to get a taste of what it would be like if I could.

Hello! Great video! If you come again to Chile I suggest visit other parts, like Chiloe island, the lake region, the araucania region, or the carretera austral, all of them very beautiful and some of the more impresive than the Torres del paine.

Great video; if you want to feel wind on your face I can also recommend Southern Tasmania, the wind feels as though it's never been through anyone else's lungs and it's as crisp and fresh as I imagine Patagonia's winds to be.
