Whilst flying over the beautiful mountains, did you happen to spot a lone, huge bipedal creature walking anywhere around? You could almost reach out and touch the peaks lol. That was a beautiful flight. That reminded me of flying over The Alps to Austria. I kept thinking. hoping. PLEASE don't let us crash in that environment. i would have hated having to dine on a mate to survive lmao.

What an amazing experience, stunning scenery, and I loved the flights where we were able to watch the landing gear retract and deploy. But what a privilege to get onto the flight deck and I expect that your experience of flying made this a special day for you! I would love to make this trip one day. Great value for money too.

Noel sorry to tell you are wrong but Isolated on the polar archipelago of Svalbard at 78 degrees north, Longyearbyen is the world's northernmost permanent settlement. Halfway between mainland Norway and the North Pole, the 2, 300 residents here are used to extremes.

Awesome video! I want to do it, too. Before 9/11 I rode in the cockpit of a number of European airlines (Adria, Swiss, Lufthansa and Air France) because I'm a private pilot in the U. S. Alas, that is no longer possible, so I really enjoyed your cockpit moments.

That happened to me in Sydney airport many years ago. I stayed the night due to bad weather and a postponement. I tried to sleep with the aroma of chemicals cleaners were using all around me. The next morning I was none the worst for wear.

Stooging around Ethiopia on DC3s was a lot of fun, but, alas, that was back in the day. Maybe Ethiopian Airlines still offer what I believe they called their 'Historic Route', but on more up-to-date machinery.

Amazing flying in the light at midnight.
The craziest flight I made was to Mulu, Sarawak in the middle of the Borneo jungle, only accessible by plane and river boat. Huge caves and limestone mountains there.

Excellent video Noel! Andenes (Andoya) brought back memories of the early 1970s when I was involved in an RAF/NATO exercise! I've been following most of your videos and this one was the best one so far!

Absolutely in love with the Norwegian landscape; it reminds me so much of my own country, Scotland. What an incredible feat Noel. You must be sick of the sound of propellers after that.

That is another milk run service that I'd love to fly on. The scenery there is so different to the Australian outback milk run I reviewed earlier this year. Thanks for sharing.

The other aviation bloggers are too busy trying to score a freebie in Q Suites to worry about the flights that are a lifeline to real people and communities. Well done Noel!

Brilliant Noel. Once went from KL to Kuching-Bintulu-Miri-Kota Kinabalu-KL with the mid two legs on an old Fokker 50. Would love to see that journey!
