Not sure what you were expecting. Its a welcomed change from the ying/yang, an off the shelf product like many other airlines BUT with upgraded features to it. The mirror cupboard is on other airlines so the sarcastic BA having extra buttons comment seemed immature. Maybe adjust your expectations in future. BA is a business without an endless pot of cash.

a shiny new aircraft is always nice but I think British airways is going for average marks overall. You won't be blown away but you're also not extremely disappointed either. Business is still far better than economy and any of us is lucky to fly in any upgraded class. I cant believe how quiet those engines are on take off! Great video Noel!

Nice unbiased report. Thanks! The new business class seats look to be a significant improvement, with full aisle access to all px and the removal of that ottoman. Of course, I've not yet seen the cabin in person but it does look like a step-down from SQ and CX A350, with the flimsy trimmings. I don't think it's going to hold up very well.

Looks like the same as what happened when ordering the A380. BA gone for all the cheap options. I flew the A350 to Dubai and in economy its actually quite nice, not as cheap as the A380, but seats are narrow. The only reason I fly BA though is the crew! Crew on BA are 99% of the time amazing. an example for the rest of the industry.

Another superb video Noel, I have just watched your trips on the Virgin A350-1000 and I have compared it with this trip to Madrid on the BA Airbus 350-1000, It looks like BA have gone cheap, and Virgin have made to right choices. many have said that BA have lost the plot over recent years, and this is not helping them.

I flew in this new suite a couple of weeks ago on a newly fitted 777 to New York. I loved it and cant wait for the rest of the fleet to be refitted. Im 6ft 1 and had a very comfortable flat sleep. Bear in mind this seat is only 4 across on a 777! Ive never seen that in business class on any airline.

It looks OK now, but that thin, cheap plastic will not age well. Adding a door with questionable usefulness and calling it a club suite no doubt allows them to charge more than plain ol' Business Class. Overall, not as spacious or elegant as some other airlines, but appears functional.

I don't know why, but British Airways just DOESN'T get what upgrades means. They don't know Business Class, Premium Economy or even First Class compared to the other top airlines. It's sad, cause BA was one of the best in the past. Bad executives at the company. They are awful.

Oh wow. This is so helpful! I wanted to book flights to Toronto in the sale and was really upset that they seem to be taking it off that route from the spring. Now it's more that it would be nicer to have it, but I'm not going to fret too much. It's not the perfect product.

Question for BA? Why is it a safety requirement to keep the sliding doors shut during take off and landing? Shouldnt the exit way and aisles be clear in case of an evacuation? I mean you can unlock and slide the door open but those are vital 2 secs wasted.

You keep saying how parts are really thin. But the aircraft needs to be light to fly! The heavier the aircraft the more fuel it needs. But the A350 is a very fuel efficient aircraft. It might seem cheap and tacky but everything has a purpose somewhere: D

Hold on, why is the isle so narrow on a A350?
I've been on 777 with wider isle and I thought A350 was wider (well at least when I flew with Finnair it felt wider then my regular 777 flight with Emirates!

For me KLM business class seat is the best. The BA suite reminds me of AerLingus biz seats that offer a tight claustrophobic experience. oh wait, BA and AerLingus are the same airline, different name.

Obviously I don't speak English. I thought brand new meant brand new. Both Noel Phillips (twice) and the plane man said the plane was brand new. One week old and already seven flights is brand new?

I like the honest review. I think the sooner Alex Cruz goes the better. It's time to Make British Airways Great Again. Cruz won the race to the bottom and lost customers like myself.

Im sorry, but I dont think youre meant to go on flights and repeatedly push and touch different parts of the seat! This is a new aircraft and yet youre already damaging it!

The thin plastic doors/grills I would imagine need to be thin and lightweight. With all the extra amenities, they have to lose weight in as many areas as they can.
