Come on that First Class lounge was CRAP! Total crap. Hopefully, it has been updated because the Polaris lounge in ORD is far more superior (as well as SFO. The BA lounge in LHR is also superior. I've lost count how many times I've flown Business on BA. So, I'm glad to finally see what I have been missing in BA's First Class. However, the last time I flew BA business class, I said never again. The two attendants responsible for the cabin I was in were complete rude to most of us. Several of us commented about it.
Great job on the parenting! Your kids were a THOUSAND times better than other kids I've encountered sitting Business. There was a long flight from IAH to SYD where someone fell asleep and not paying attention to their kids who were running up and down the aisle screaming and yelling (light were out for sleeping passengers. Flight attendants were having trouble catching them and trying to get them to stay in their seats. When the parents were told to watch their kids, they said where are they going to go, they can't harm anything. Terrible parents. That was a fun flight. NOT.
I fly all over the world, your videos are inspiring me to film what I see!

wow 3: 46 that BA receptionist gave you guys such RUDE LOOKS! I guess she was too far above those with kiddos! That really annoyed me.
Weve flown BA First Class many times to London. UNTIL. We had to fly Business once due to overbooking. What a surprise! Business Class offered the exact amenities that First Class does with a sizable amount LESS for cost. Its ALWAYS Business Class from now on.
BTW: while I dont agree with many companies policies the cost is always at the consumers expense, ours like many tell employees when flying overseas in particular, fly First Class. The Theory is, you can still go to a meeting or give the company a full days work if youre refreshed during the flight(Rarely works.

I lived in London from 2004-2007 (an expat American student at King's College London) and have made numerous return trips from the USA to the UK. I have flown BA on the vast majority of these trips. All my BA flights have been on 747s, mainly in WT but sometimes in WT+. I have noticed on all my BA 747 flights, WT+ is oddly located behind First but in front of Club World. The First cabin has an odd but interesting window treatment that I haven't seen in any other cabin or on any other airline. BTW I've never seen an English wine before (other than mead and berry wines.

my parents shell out their money for vehicles that travel/ride well because my dad HATES flying. i've only known him to fly for one family trip: ICT (wichita, ks) to new york, barely made our connection to london. then back the same way home three weeks later. many, many family trips stuck in a vehicle but i can say that because of that, i'm able to say i've been to 46 states and countless national parks here in the US by the time i was 18; i'm now 33 and 2 more states under my belt. my parents were very much it's the journey to get there type of travelers.

Your kids are so so freaking lucky. I've flown in business class around 3-4 when I was a infant and toddler bouncing between Tokyo and San Francisco. But now since I am a kid (10) my parents almost NEVER buy us premium tickets on planes. I flew Virgin Premium on the A350 between Heathrow and JFK but thats all of my premium flights since I was 5. I personally think it is worth it to fly in style like this, I'm from Japan and living in America and flying 10 hours back home in economy is a nightmare.

We always go on airplanes, I feel so spoiled I always get dumped (or so cancelled) and get an upgrade to first class, mainly cus Im such a Quiet teenager, we recently went on AAs CRJ700 first class, it rlly went out of the way to Flagstaff this last month. Seat 3A was good, and it had the rarely seen walls. Im so crazy, I always get the last row of first class
I was the only one traveling in style, I selected the seat, idk why they do they to me. Maybe just a little added to me: S

Never flown first class, but I flew BA business class on the A380 YVR-LHR. That was amazing even though I was in a rear facing seat. No regrets because BA no longer flies the A380 to YVR and I consider it a once in a lifetime trip. Please make sure you save that video so you can show the kids when they're older lol First class is truly something else. I wish I knew how many pence per mile? Great video with the family Noel!

When we were travelling with my parents as kids, we hated to eat at McDonald's. It was ok for lunch but we liked a proper dinner of steak/seafood. I loved surf and turf! I still do! Did I mention ceasar salad and bbq spare ribs with a loaded baked potato? I do enjoy a hot loaded cheeseburger and fries for breakfast which includes a large diet coke! Last night, I cooked myself a duck breast for the first time!

As a kid in the 80's, I got to fly Business class with KLM in the upper deck of a 747. Best flight ever! The seats back then didn't have the glitz, or the glamour or the comfort of today of course, but flying in the upper deck of a jumbo jet, it felt truly amazing. Very very lucky indeed. I rarely fly these days thanks to fibromyalgia and other chronic health issues, so I cherish these memories even more.

Wow, BA serves hearty portions with their meals. And it looks delicious. It's been a long time since I've been to England, way back when Piedmont Airlines flew out of Charlotte to Gatwick with the 767-ER. If I ever go back, I'll fly BA. or swim. before putting up with American's snotty, ill mannered nonsense. I won't tolerate rudeness for the kind of money they charge.

With BA's Club World (Business Class) beautiful new seat/suite design, the only differences between the classes are really slightly elevated menu & amenities kit, pajamas, and costs. It's one reason why some airlines have expanded Business Class and reduced First Class. But $1000 for First Class is a spectacular deal!

BOAC - Better On A Camel got that from an English friend who unfortunately passed away last year. Loved to chat with him about aviation and the last time I saw him alive was at Brooklands Museum where he did volunteer work. R. I. P. Mike

BOAC Boeing 747 you transported them back to the 1970s! (I stand corrected! I commented before watching the video in full) Some of the looks from the BA staff are hilarious though, like they're thinking kids in First Class, oh no!

what a great dad. Nice how your son is watching TV and eating his chicken nuggets with that silver salt sifter in front of him. Very classy! From now on I shake out my serviettes like your kids do.

Never mind the rest of the video; a brother and sis actually enjoying each others company at that age and playing together is a bloody miracle. I can't tell what the age difference is though.

What nice and well behaved kids. When I read the title of this video I thought, oh horror of horrors! The food looked incredible and it was nice they also offered a kids' meal.
