BRITISH AIRWAYS SAVED THE DAY! British Airways A380 Business Class Carpe: Does this guy ever interact with locals on his travels around the world. Seems like a very lonely travel experience. I have travelled all over the world and without exception my best experiences hav always involved locals, in one way or another, worst experiences too. I always thought that, without talking or socialising with the natives and making some new friends in the process, I might have well just stayed in the UK. The wonders and sights of the world are fantastic, but different people of the world can be fantastic too. A lot of my greatest life lessons have been learned while travelling. 95% of my flights were economy, unless I got an upgrade. I was pretty much into backpacking though, totally different from why this guy travels I suppose. I guess he likes airline food, airport terminal food and airport hotel food.

Why do airlines, restaurants, et al think that the underpants skidmark of sauce across the plate is pretty? Its not. Don't do it. Don't play with your food. And that Business Class layout. No! You were in the closet under the stairs. It is 'soixante-neuf' class. I bet almost every other airline in the world is laughing their ass off at that product. I was. We have flown the BA A380 several times and once I saw that product I booked the upper deck Economy Class.

i left a suitcase at a convenience store at a train station in eastern europe once. got all the way to the platform with the train due in a few minutes, it arrived early, i boarded. suddenly thought hang on, this is too easy. pegged it downstairs to the concourse, into the store, the staff had held the case thankfully, grabbed it, ran back upstairs and made the train (the only train of the day) by a minute. so i feel that pain!

1: 03 How can you get back to the A pier from the B lounge via the walkway? The walkway is on the arrivals section of the airport (Heathrow T5 separates departure and arrivals areas, so I don't see how you can even access the walkway from the B pier and even if you could, the walkway will spill you back into the transit area, where you would have to go through security again to get to the A pier. Have I missed something?

17: 10 I love that, this is was I love about BA customer service, regardless which member of staff you talk to or what country or terminal you are in, the customer service is tailored and and consistent. The message of you and your bag has circulated either through staff or perhaps yourself, and they still ensured you are prepared and on point with your situation following the last. Well done BA

I left my favourite shirt (button up that I wear over top of my t-shirt) on my seat flying from Frankfurt to Toronto and Mentioned it to an Air Canada employee not thinking Id ever see it again. After my flight was loaded (Toronto to Edmonton) a flight attendant handed me my shirt which a ground crew worker drove to the plane across the tarmac. Best service ever! Thanks Air Canada!

BA aren't outstanding in any way if anything BA are still outdated and trying to relive Concorde Times however the Cabin Crew still hold one Value that makes BA a bit more memorial being quite essentially British bringing our Warm hospitality and good manners same goes to VS, Easyjet, Jet2, TUI and Thomas Cook when they were around.

Great video again n so lucky Noel to get your carry on bag back. I really dont understand why so many people constantly complain about LHR. In my humble opinion their ground staff is always super friendly n helpful. I am German but I lived in London for 2 years n worked at LHR but on the cargo section. I truly love the.

I had a great experience with BA. I was flying PanAM from SanFrancisco to Frankfurt. We where in the air for 4 hours when the Captain announced Oil Pressure/ Engine failure. We returned back to SanFranciso. British Airways absorbed all the Passengers. We where treated like Gold. I wont ever forget that.

Great review as always Noel. looks like you were lucky to fly out of London with that fog! Amazing shots on take off! Warm nuts? Nice flight Noel. with a minimum of fuss of course. Still to me a strange layout with reverse facing seats etc! Thanks again mate and a belated Happy New Year to you and yours!

It's things like this that separate the wheat from the chaff as far as customer service goes. It's easy being friendly and helpful when things are rosy, but when things go wrong like this you see just how good staff are and how well-trained and committed (and perhaps well-treated) they are.

It is amazing the service that you get when you fly BA. My experience with them is 180 degrees opposite. I'll likely never fly with them again because of the poor service and behavior that I received when I flew with them (Orlando to Gatwick and back. Maybe because I'm American?

BA is not good at all and has shown ZERO loyalty it its staff. The flights within Europe are no better than Ryanair. You are easily stressed and a typical entitled individual. Some of your reviews are very good but your overt sense of entitlement and arrogance is something else.

One selling point for passenger experience for a380 and 747-8 is storage bins for window seats on the upper deck. Those bin spaces could be used as a small work surface when closed especially if you have a MacBook Air 11 inch or a mini pc laptop aka net book

Noel, I love watching your videos, you are so honest about your experiences, and you are so polite no matter who you are dealing with. I forgot to comment on the first class flight where you took your wife and kids, you have a gorgeous family

Ive left (and lost) an iPad on a flight and Ive also lost my carry on twice in the airport on same trip! Was on way home after 6 weeks away at work offshore. Wasnt used to the alcohol and it got the better of me! I felt such an idiot though!

BA is not British anymore it is owned bye a Spanish company, and one major scam on BA business class seat is that after paying you 3000 pounds for business class, they got the cheek to ask you to pay extra to choose what seat you wont.
reply

Define irony
While boarding the A380 to Johannesburg the BA theme music was playing
Youve lost your bag
Youve lost your bag
But still well done to all concerned
Sometimes we all need rescuing even from ourselves

Looooved watching it! Being at LHR with u, hearing all the sounds, seeing BA crew n ground staff. Brings back lovely memories of my
BUD-LHR-BUD and LHR-MAN-LHR flights. I cant wait to be back onboard traveling with BA!

Ive only ever had perfect experiences with BA cabin crew and ground staff. Strikes me that they are people with proper whole-life experience who understand human behaviour and are good communicators.
